Animators VS. Actionscripters Hue Test
Take this hue test and post your score.
It will be interesting if there is any correlation between animators and programmers. I find it all pretty interesting. I got a 39.
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!

I got 11. Pretty good for an AS'er.
I scored 50, which is apparently average I guess... my graph had a lot of bars in the same area on the blue as senti's did. Wouldn't your monitor also affect the test?
wow nice score. i only got a 50, I could've spent more time on it to get more precise answers but meh. it's not like im disappointed or anything.
Ha 26, not bad for someone who's partially colorblind. Eat that doctors! This test also depends quite heavily on the quality of your monitor though...
Also, late congrats to Reneanea.

Well you beat senti so its good :P
"Your score: 16"
Omg that hue test.. Idk if all the colours are the same for everybody but if they are, the 3rd one was practically the same colour! Made my eyes water >.> I got a 16 though which is pretty good :)
Sup, bitches :)
I got 30, I do have a well nice display though.
No idea whether thats good or not :P

If it were only a simple belief in a god, without anything more than that I would be fine with that. but for 2000 years they are only doing bad to the world.
That's a weak argument. You can't lump "Religion" into one vague group, and that argument is especially irrelevant when it comes to dealing with individual people. I personally have never opposed a scientific advance, and yet I believe in God...WHAT NAO!?

Did this while watching Firefly and I'm on my tablet's screen. Overall though, I think a score of a 16 is good for someone who's meant to be more coder than artist

When I say that religion often attempts to stop science, it obviously doesn't directly refer to you. However, if you are a religious christian you are part of the religious group. I don't really care if you have done anything in your life that may oppose or help science, if you want to define yourself as a christian then it pretty much means you support christianity. If christians do bad things and then you're associated with them even though you didn't do anything, well too bad for you.
We can't just put the blame on the people who are directly responsible, because the whole religion is built on the foundations of the whole religious group. each christian is in some sense a contribution to christianity.
Seriously, you can't just say it's a weak argument just because you're a christian and you don't do anything bad to science. I'm arguing against the conflict between science and religion, I'm not saying anything about individual people. You can't just jump in and complain about it, because there's the fact that religion does harm to science / society and then there's the fact that not all members of this religious group are reponsible for this, which is pretty much irrelevant to the argument of religion doing harm to science. No one is blaming you, I'm just blaming religion. (and naturally, I oppose anyone who supports religion)
you can say that you're religious but you completely oppose christianity's opposition to scientific advance, but that won't change the fact that you're part of the group.
Hue Test
Damn. I felt all high and mighty when I got a 30. Apparently I can't tell a light shade of brown from a slightly lighter shade of brown. Ah well.

You sound like you know little about religion and the MANY factions and conflicting beliefs and policies even within Christianity. To say I support things that I, nor my religion, don't, is ignorant. "Christianity" has no unified and single position on anything there are hundreds of branches that fall under the huge blanket of "Christianity." That's why your argument is weak.
And if that doesn't prove my point, look at my color spectrum test:

I'm concerned my graph is so flat. :/

Yay, i'm happy ^_^
sigh i was starting to write a long post but forget about it, it's not even necessary.
im blaming ur religion.
i don't care who is under the blanket, I just see what religion has done and I blame it. If you wanna take it personally and defend your beliefs because you are under the blanket that im blaming, then whatever. i don't care. it's ur choice to be under that blanket, and many people are going to associate you with the other people other your blanket. (lol that sounded pretty gay)

I concur, many, many, many wars have been fought over religion, many people have been killed over religion and many fanatics have killed in its name. Can anyone name a scientist who has killed or waged war over his beliefs? That's because scientists don't follow blindly without proof, if you are sure or something, there is no need to fight to prove it. This is of course a generalization, but if you are part of a religion, than you surely have a strong enough belief to fight for it, because you can't physically prove your belief, so the only way to resolve is to fight pointlessly.
This said, i have nothing against relgious people, just the idea of religion.

I'm concerned that everyone elses is relatively flat, mine was literally flat (no bars for most of the left side) and then on the right side there was 3 or 4 big bars :[
Maybe I'm colour blind xD

Take this conversation to PM nobody else is engaged nor wants to be.. we're busy comparing penis hues. Such sensitive topics are boring in a flash forum anyway.

Freak!
Kill the mutant!
I got 11 which i spose is good seeing as how people are getting 50 and junk :3
.
I disagree with you there, luis. Every time a subject like that pops on the reg lounge everyone gets all sensitive like im insulting all religious people, but I'm only explaining my reasonable opinions about the subject. There is obviously many users here who participate in discussing religion and stuff so I don't see why it should be taken away from the reg lounge. There's a reason why it's called the reg lounge, because it's the lounge of the regs, not of a dictator.
well maybe im wrong about the dictator part, because I'm not the one who can really decide what belongs to the flash forum and what doesn't belong, but I still think we should be allowed to express our opinions freely as long as it's not going too far. and i definitely don't see this going anywhere near too far.

50 isn't bad >_<
It's not like this rates anything which you could practically relate to art talent or skill. If it was some test involving colors that went well together maybe...
I am glad toast got 50 also though... so I don't feel completely hue retarded.

meh i dont have the energy to moderate anymore... if you really wanted to fight it by all means go for it.. its not a dictatorship or whatever.. its not so much that the subject of religion is unwanted its more of the mood of the thread is more of a just grazing topics.. its like a very surface level type of lounge.. compare it to being in a bar maybe. where you may come across and discuss religion or whatever but the conversations are very surface level and it eventually just moves on after its limited juice supply runs out..from what i could tell, it started as a group conversation a few pages ago and you two were the only ones left over cause the group moved on to something else.. and eventually.. its just you two defending each others ground.. your topics began being aimed more at the one particular persons thing rather than broad strokes .. meh i dunno and i dont care, im just trying to be a catalyst to the thread. stay stuck on religion if that makes you so happy or if you have to really fight for it.. i aint gonna fight you cause 1) i dont have the energy and 2) its stupid.
ive moved on from this now and am resuming my life. thnx
