Crome

Crome will likely be replacing firefox for me. I like firefox a lot, but I don't really use a lot of add ons or anything... plus I like the feature in crome where you can have it open to as many pages as you want, that way I can open to the four or five pages I visit the most right off the bat, that'll save me tens of seconds typing in partial websites and opening new tabs.

Let me know if the flash player runs really horrible or something... but then again explorer is better than firefox for flash isn't it?

ALSO, try dragging the post box by the lower right corner, that is neat.

I use chrome occasionally now, but i'm really hating the scrolling thing. When you scroll down it scrolls about twice as many lines as FF and IE at a time. Really annoying. Anyone know how to fix it? There are a few other things as well but can't think of them right now.

Although he'd probably pretend to be American if he thought it'd get him more votes.

Altough you'd probably pretend to have posted only once, if it would get you unbanned from your triplepost. :P

That was either very cheap or accidental :P

Chrome: I'm using it from now on. If I was sexually inclined towards internet browsers then this would be my bitch yo! :D (sorry just had to get that out)

Ah yea I noticed that right off the bat too... is there some place to send suggestions or complaints?

I guess I give chrome more credit than it might deserve so far, because it's google, and what do they honestly mess up? Their maps are awesome, their email service is awesome, their search engine is awesome... In google I trust.

I looked for that straight away seeing as it seemed like a good idea to suggested it to google but I couldn't find anything. But I suppose they'll work that out and change that seeing as its still BETA.

Interesting article comparing google chrome, IE8 and firefox 3.1 on different category.

It actually does, multiply each post for 60 seconds, and that's just about how much time you've wasted on newgrounds. :D

apology accepted paranoia, but we all know that you hoped to get away with that. everyone cares about post count.

I have two computers atm, the one I bought last year and used ever since (1.88ghz, 200gb space, 2gb RAM), and one that my brother left here when he moved to israel, which is even worse than the one I have. I think im still gonna try to build a gaming computer though, not just for having a good computer but also for boasting at school that i built a computer on my own :P there's an option you can take on 10th grade in my school where u basically have 3 hours / week of "physics and computers" instead of my 3 hours / week in economy. I didn't get in though because it's only for the best students and I've never done shit in school. Anyway, I was kinda impressed when my old brother said that they dismantled computers to see what's inside during those 3 hours, as if it were so complicated.

I'd be happy to get tips from you guys who are more experienced with this stuff. Right now I'm choosing my equipment, keep in mind my budget is around 300 euros for now. If that's not enough, I can always do some quick flash shit and get ads on it for some extra.

300 won't get you anything amazing. I'd reccomend a ati radeon hd4850, great card (crysis on ultra high), and very cheap. A quad core is obviously better, but amd dual cores have a good bang for buck, EXCEPT the tri-core ones, they just overheat and don't handle well, so stay away from those. Get a case with a good airflow and make sure that there is atleast 1 case fan, preferably two. If you want recommendation on any parts, i'd be glad to help and try and find cheaper shit of the same quality.

/nerdy talk.

Pogs (and then Tazos) where the bee's knees. As well as having some metal slammers myself, I had this massive plastic one that had to be about 1/2 inch thick.

Crazy bones were also fairly big too, as was conkers, especially since we had a horse chestnut tree in our school.

Conkers! I'm collecting conkers. I'm trying hard to find the biggest and the best...

As an English dude the closest I get to the news is the BBC, which is pretty respectable, but I laugh at the American news system - The Daily Show seems to be your most reputable source of news D: I love the Daily Show.

Fads
My school didn't have many fads. I guess Pokemon were a fad for about 6 months (the cards) and Beyblades (LOLOL) for about 3 days. Other than that my classmates just mugged old women, more of a lifestyle than a fad.

I mainly watch BBC

I guess Pokemon were a fad for about 6 months

I was about 6 at the time so I mainly only watched the anime, I played the cards too but we weren't as much into it as the anime. My mates were into yugioh cards or something

Beyblades (LOLOL) for about 3 days

Beyblades was great. I might have to dig them out soon.

My most awesome fad following was Pogs. I still have two shoeboxes full of them. I had a metal slammer and became the envy of all playground children.

Pogs were the shit. I don't even think I ever even played the game but I liked the way they looked. I still remember the way some of them looked and felt. And the cylindrical container that held all of them.
