Single Serving Sites

I just read an article about a 'single serving site explosion' and thought it be pretty interesting to share with all you dudes.
Here's a list of a ton of domains that serve only one purpose (single serving site), most of them are pretty damn humorous. One of the more prominent site designers is a guy by the name of Rafaël Rozendaal (supposedly the pioneer) and you can see a few of his examples here.

At first I thought his bicycle one was a real website and I kept waiting for the Nav links to pop up haha, so I just spun that bike wheel for like 3 minutes.

always behind schedule.

3- Have Fun. If you are gonna get bent out of shape over a bbs thread then you probably should just unplug your computer and never plug it again.

LMFAO!

Or at least given him a cameo. If he could do a British accent he could have played Alfred.

Just saw it, any yeah it's a hell of a lot better than the first new Batman. Heath Ledger's performance is completely hypnotic. I hear he's not in the next one, though :(

Thats because he sadly passed away =(

The Mullet-Man Challage!
This started between me and my friend. Write a song - doesn't have to be that good and can be about anything, then find or compose something to go with it and I'll sing it - no matter what its about in my happy hick voice.
10 songs, if I can managed to sing 10 songs I got $10. :3

This is what I get for singing twinkle star and saying I could sing.

How did you get into flash?

I got a book by Andy Harris that said Beginning Flash/Game Programming for dummies. And once I bought the book, I realized that I needed flash... yeah lol

I got into it when I saw some random guy making a very terrible stickman animation, which at the time I thought was spectacular. I asked him what he was using and from there on, I started to make some horrible animations myself, I used to make most of them at 12 fps and i would actually extend each frame to 5 frames long.

lol nice.
Wait, weren't there ppl complaining about the spam on this topic? I actually asked this question to create a more interesting conversation.

So, Why not answer a flash question?

That reminds me - I actually wrote a song inspired by you a while back but the AP wouldn't accept the mp3 for some reason. :-/

(as in it said something was wrong with the file)

Anyways, I uploaded it here. Listen to it on a loop until you go insane.

Regarding the actual challenge, why don't you just sing already-known songs? Does the song need to be original for part of the bet?

RE: How I got into Flash

I actually was mildly into animating on the computer via a program called Disney Animation Studio, I remember how it came in those giant 5.14 floppy disks which some of you probably have never seen before ^_____^

It had no gradients, or layers or timelines but it did have onion skinning. I wish I had my old computer to look through those old animations

RE: How I got into Flash

My friend had a copy of Flash MX, I used it a bit and loved using it. Then quite a while later after browing Newgrounds I came across Penndragon and thought... "I want to do that :D"
I guess you could say it inspired me, so I got a copy of Flash for myself and started experimenting and learning :]

lol, the first animating thing I had was this terrible Simpsons animator thingy. At the time, I had a load of fun messing around with it. I made this massive saga about an alien attack, and some of the aliens could transform and junk, and Homer accidentially ate one while it was a butterfly...

Actually, before that I remember doing loads of drawing at primary school. I used to love wet breaks- I'd just sit by a desk making mini-flip books and random pictures and occasionally showing people while waiting for a spot at Jenga to free up...

I really wish I could find the first stuff that I made.

Whoh I actually remember using that program.. Simpson Scene Creator or something like that.
I remember making little clips with random storylines, though that was ages ago now so I've lost all of those files.
