Yep, but only the same way Moore was perfect, Connery was perfect etc. I think he'll be quite good, he doesn't look like a usual bond (blonde hair and blue eyes) but I think he could do it. Plus the films may be a little different from the norm.

I'm actually going to see this movie solely because I'm curious where they are going with the Bond movies. Plus, I want to see how he can act ^_^

More complex than you'd think. I made it in 3D. I created the text first, then created a wavy plane so it would refract like ripples, and then "tweened" (as flash artist would call it.... but 3d artists call it keying, or just keyframing like in flash), it moving from left to right so the refraction would change and cycle like a wave.

then I added the scanlines in flash and got someone to export it from fireworks so it would look good.

Complex. First, every other horizontal line of the image I rendered out afterwards from photoshop had to be a different frame. So like the first line of the image was from the first frame, the second line was the second line of the second frame, the third line was the third line of the third frame of the animation, and so on. THen I had to put this weird refractive piece of plastic on top that has tons of tiny semi-circularly shaped things going across that make it so you only see one of the lines at a time and when you rotate it it changes which of each 9 lines you see.

So it's like being animated. They can also use this to simulate 3D without 3D glasses.
