Holy fuck. This is quite possibly the worst news I have heard since I signed up to this website. The SS, more than any other group, have provided me with much enjoyment with their animations, both good and deliberately bad. They've been movers and shakers in the Newgrounds community, giving honest, biting criticism to over-rated artists through their parodies, championing unknown artists by letting them participate in their Dailytoons, and all the while entertaining us all.

Now, many of you will blame F00D, Zekey, Fat_Badger or whoever else, but you know what? I'm gonna take a different stance, one that I feel is more accurate. I blame YOU, Newgrounds users. Yes, through your untold faggotry, you were the main catalyst in the tearing apart of the SS. You support sickeningly over-rated artists like LogoPresents, LegendaryFrog and illwillpress, yet when the SS makes an actual quality flash, you simply go 'Grrr, i h8 teh SS' and vote it 0 without even watching. And yet you accuse them of mass-voting. Fucking pathetic.

And don't get me started on your inability to take a joke. The parodies, the deliberately bad series, you treat them like they were a fucking declaration of war. You make your angry, all-caps, all-0 reviews telling the authors to die, insulting their sexual preferences, their skill as artists despite you having no skill to call your own, and yet you insist that THEY are the abusive ones. Christ, it's just a damn website, you don't even have any stake in running it. Why do you care so much if somebody makes a bad flash? If you really are so uptight and serious that you cannot see any humour in such flashes, just don't watch them, instead of being an abusive little bastard.

I think such childish, mindless hating would eventually get to ANY artist, it's no surprise that it's stressed out the SS members to the point where good friends are now involved in heated debates.

Even though it took me some time to enjoy them, I really like the Dailytoons and most of the SS's material despite the dreadful lack of visual quality. It's a shame really that the group itself can't resolve it's problems and either get along or pick out the cancers.

Problem is this thing will always be long-term.

New group is born(lets say SS), starts to get itself noticed by whatever means(be it good or crap flash), has mass threads about it in the bbs for whatever reasons(hate or love) and then finally it takes some assholes to try and ruin it(be they former members or just bored alts), and then they are "officially" disbanded.

Rinse and repeat.

Yes, all good things must come to an end at sometime. Sorry for those who still don't like us, we tried. It's not like we're dying in real life. We'll still make movies and stuff, just not together. We'll all move on to bigger and better things, and that's what this spilt up is all about.

In all honesty I couldn't give a rats ass about whether or not the SS is disbanding or not. As long as the quality flash makers from the group continue submitting stuff of a decent quality I don't really care if the SS is gone or not.
