Yeah, there came a time when I stopped writing reviews because I felt that the artist could care less what I had to say. Now I only review if I really enjoyed, really hated, or have constructive criticism for a submission. If the review response rate increases, maybe I'll start reviewing more submissions.

Man, that is just not right! If that happens, I (and several other Newgrounders) will either have to wait longer for Newgrounds to come up or never see it again! The U.S. is such a downer to live in sometimes...especially since we're one of the most hated countries, we don't need our country corrupted any more. I'll support free internet-I always have!

Yeah i think that maybe just a small number in parenthesis or something similar next to the inbox button is better then e-mail.
Net neutrality is a serious issue right now. I wouldn't want this site to load up slower just because Newgrounds didn't give major ISPs money.

Only a good idea if done the google way by checking every so often instead of on every load, else, it'd just be the same as any other form of notifications, the fact that it must key into the database every time, in this case to check for unread PMs.

Not that this would apply to Newgrounds considering how open it is to various forms of content, but n regards of Net Neutrality, if one of you guys run a website, take Penny-Arcade for example. They take in advertisements regarding games and hardware. What if a porn site asked them to advertise? They would most likely say no. The Porn Site could then sue Penny-Arcade for being discriminant and biased against their porn site. If porn is your hobby, that's your own thing, but point is they wouldn't have a choice in the matter. That's taking away freedom of speech and expression.

I'm glad you're bringing this under the attention of the people, even though i'm not in the US, net neutrality is an important issue, especially for communities like these.

The header file, on the other hand, is loaded millions of times per day.
It still doesn't make sense that you show someone's username in the header, yet you can't tell them they have an private message. In other forum software, all this information is retrieved via the same query, meaning no extra load. That is unless the query is structured so it only retrieves the username.
