That'd be moot though. At night Joe usually peaks in every once and a while which is fine since the board literally slows to a crawl. Unless somebody deliberately starts spamming and tries to get banned, mods usually aren't even needed 'till like 12pm at the earliest.

I'd like to run for a Mod or a Review Mod spot...I mean I am on 24/7,I help people,and I'm currently in the process of learning flash(Not that it should help me become a Mod).

On a note that might help,I've never been banned for anything like spammin or whatnot.I am even close to making my posts up to 1,000.

Nah, I'm a very bad person... I have been banned many times for indecent behaviour, pulling the occasional Shrapnel yet being banned for it really does have it's emotional effect, Shrapnel's paying for my therapy anyway...

to be blaitanly obvious, i'd just like to point out that we don't really need any more mods. the forums are pretty clean, and we have enough mods to keep it that way. leave things as the are unless something arises and more mods are needed to calm the situation. long story short, all of you shut up, wade will know when mroe mods are needed...or he'll just get bann happy and bann us all..whichever he sees more fitting.

I remember when I used to want to moderate so badly. I mean, in a way what moderating these forums really brings is popularity, almost celebrity starus to those with the power (amongst users, which is all that bad), but at the same time it also brings the bitching, hate and nonsense that just insn't neccessary with a task that comes free. The way that I see it, pretty much any user who isn't popular now, would be once they become a moderator (I don't care who they are). Another downside would be the users who'd feel that you've changes or become more arrogant upon becoming a MOD.

i think when you get to mod-like status, its more of a reward. of course with everything comes the bad parts (i.e the bitching, complaining, etc) but it can't be that bad. all you do is keep people off the forums like that guy yesterday who kept making those "x-box sucks" threads. it also seems like people are scared of mods.....and its usually these people who are doing something wrong in the first place......because contrary to popular beliefs, mods don't ban for no reason.

In cases like that, you have to show him what a waste of time it is for him. Me and Bob would simultaneously ban him having a conversation in our ban messages. Eventually he gave up because he saw it wasn't effecting us and he had to go make a new email account somewhere like hotmail every time, wait for validation email and come back just to make 1 topic and be banned. Took him about 10 minutes of work each time, us about 30 seconds.

i remember back when you actually knew who the mods were. now its the mods changing thier names and that all the time, i literally forgot about joe because he changed his name. and it used to be "oh, a new mod name, must be tanner or steve changing again" but nooo, its all of them, at least the ones still around, i'm pretty sure olskoo is in the militarry if my memory serves me right, and that he's on assingment. but i barely ever see freak on much (probably because i'm not on when she is) and i dont see haq on much either. and where the hell did newgrundling run off to?

your right, i dont like it when people change there name, it just hurts my small brain, and i miss newgrundling, he was like a information center.
