STOP FUCKING WHINING ABOUT HOW PEOPLE VOTE, ITS OUR OPINION ON HOW THE MOVIES SHOULD BE SCORED.
For me rthere are only two scores. A five and a zer, and i dont give a crap wat any of u say, especially wade, who probably just posts stuff and doesnt even bother reading wat his people ay unless like 50 people email him. I never though id see the day that i despised wade and tom. On another note, does anyone have a picture of a fire truck on fire?? that would be awsome.

If wade and tom wanted us to leave it alond, do you really think they would put it on BBS??? uh no! they want r opinion on it ur moron. Jeez some people can be so stupid, and besides there are like 100 thousand users on ng, u should be happy only about 20 of them post more than one opinion and that the other 100,080 dont post anything at all.

I think it's funny how you've not posted one thing of any importance... every post is a lame attempt to bash someone... And on the opinions... if you see someone has your opinion, don't post about it... there's no point in saying the exact same thing 30 times
HERES A FUCKING IDEA! LEAVE THE SCORES AS IS BUT NO MORE EXP! JUST GET RID OF THAT ASPECT COMPLETLEY! PROBLEMS SOLVED! Try for a week or so, i guarentee, 75% of your viewer base will drop becuase they are all assholes just wanting to be the most powerfull voter on ng.
Look, idiot, taking away the fact that voting allows you to unlock things and be more powerful would be stupid, because then nobody would vote period, they'd only watch the movies. People just need to realize that a lot of good entries are submitted everyday and that you get just as many points for a SAVE as yo do a BLAM, and if you can't realize that then get off Newgrounds because we don't need people that don't even care what kind of Flash they're BLAMMING and have no respect for the artists that make them.
It irritates me, to see all these rotten little bastards (pardon my color metaphors) who have nothing better to do than vote everything as bad... I wonder if it makes them feel special, or are they just morons? I vote and review based on content not personal feeling... in Assassin, the Killing of ICP, I'm a mega Juggalo, and I think it's a well done and funny game. people need to effin grow up and actualy support the artists, because I've seen alot of quality movies with bad ratings, all because people are stupid.

In my eyes, this site is straying from what it used to be; A fun place to go, voice yourself, be silly, see artwork, fight, make clubs, destroying submissions, praising authors, playing games, and so on.
Rules are eliminating some of the fun things that make newgrounds unique. Of course, setting boundaries is almost always necessary, but it IS possible to take it a little to the extreme.
At this rate, the next rule will be "No one can submit movies if your username contains the word 'clock'" or "If you don't like certain movies, you will be warned" or "If you vote zero on a submission, you will be site-banned".
Let it be, the system is good as is.
I completely agree with Zero on this one. I thought the whole point of having the point system was to give the viewers some power over this site. By telling everyone how to vote, Tom and Wade, you guys are going against having the system all together. I'm not dismissing the fact that there are jerks who vote zero on every single submission without even viewing it... but maybe that suggests that perhaps you should make it mandatory to have you watch the movie before you can vote on it. If it still gets a zero after being watched then maybe it deserved it... but don't tell us HOW we should vote.
Man I hate fuck heads that always vote 0s on flash movies for no reason. They are annoying because they cut the ratings of good entries in half.
By the way, I haven't been able to view any flash movies off newgrounds for the past week give or take. I'll let the window sit for hours on end and all that I get is a blank screen with that black and yellow "SEND THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS" thing at the bottom. I use LocalNet as my ISP and I have a slow internet connection(but letting something load for a few HOURS with not even a "NOW LOADING" screen poping up is a sign there is something else wrong than the slow transfer rate).

This sounds like a good idea, though I have one problem with it. I feel that if the movie isnt entertaining to you, then it is alright to give it a zreo or a one. It's your opinion, isnt it? If it truely isn't entertaining to you, then, seeing as you must share your opinion, give it a zero! Even better, write a review as to why it wasn't entertaining. I mean, if it isnt entertaining to a lot of people, then it deserves to be blammed, and if not, then good for that person, and you just didn't like it. Your zero can't hurt that much.
However, if you don't like it because of general topics, eg. you like funny stuff and this was serious, or something like that, then just don't vote. But if its maybe supposed to be entertaining for people who like funny stuff and you just dont think it is, then blam it!

Hello all, I'm new to this board and just signed up for the account to respond on this subject.
I say this:
-Post a "+" or "-" spot along with the number scoring. That way, people that vote saying that they either like it or hate it can simply put that "+" or "-" thing. I suggest going further with this idea by changing either + or - with "like" or "dislike" and placing how many "good/bad only" voters picked either choice.
for the 0's:
-If people keep giving 0s, then check what their response is. If their response is "BLAM THIS!" "this is utter crap" or whatever that doesn't really explain why they hated the latest batch they gave 0 on, then go with a warning, and then ask the rest of the folks if such a person should be banned or how many warnings warrants a ban or something.
-if that was the intention in the first place, sorry, a lot of the responses on this post are yays or nays.
Sorry for the long post, this is all opinion anywho.

Seems like a nice idea but what if you've watched a particular movie already, know its crap and want to BLAM it the next day? Then you have to watch shit like a clown with a penis hanging out it's pants just so you could BLAM it! They're would be many problems to have to work around.
i think wade and tom r right, peopel are voting 0 2 much, and some of the top movies from a while ago (such as xiao xiao 3 or 4) would be blammed if they were submitted now, and i think people r taking this way to personal, about how they have some magical right to trash movies, that take months to make i vote fairly, movies that i have been voting on the scale wade has been suggesting since i got an account, people are too harsh now, but of course if you give someone a privelage they abuse it, especially when they're anomymous on the internet, my plan, would be some kind of screening process to be allowed to vote (like they used to in the early 20th century, so that dumasses dont vote) but this would be a long process, and so there'd be few accoounts, and it would be a heavy burden for all the fine folks of NG
Finally! The voting system on NG is starting to become fair.. Kinda. Thanks Wade! I had friends from school who would submit stuff here, and even though some of it had a lot of work put into it, they got unfairly blammed. The new system works A LOT better than the old one.. Keep up the good work. I don't reply to these front page posts ever (first time), but this deserved it. :)
