Wade if anything, I was trying to honor the portal system and its laws. Only thing I hate more then people massing their films, is people downvoting others films. I saw this happen and got pissed off, and Ill be damned before I let him steal a review crew pick. Which is where the zeros came from.
If I knew I would be punished for serving out justice, I wouldn't of done it, but I dont care. As long as that award stealing douche failed. It is worth it.
I have investigated further into the luigi guy. He emailed Tom and claimed he left what he felt was a fair score. Aftewards his friend watched the entry and didn't like it and gave it a 2. I checked the accounts, and they share the same IP as far as recent activity. So either it is an alt, or his friend logs in from his house a lot, which maybe the case. However, he knew the entry was in competition with him for the award, and their back to back reviews did knock the score down. I have also review banned these accounts.
Thank you for answering my question, Wade. I would say you're being quite reasonable. A little fair play never hurt anyone.
And I would like to say in advance to anyone who calls me a kiss ass: Go fuck yourself. The man deserves some respect, I should think, and he's not doing anything too drastic.

I was reviewing zero so the award stealer wouldnt win. Im actually trying to PROTECT the portal here. And yet I am punished. (as well as my friends who both told me about it and helped with it)
I think a lot of you guys are misinterpreting what Wade means when he writes about "Mass Voting" - I've read a lot of comments about other author's fans who have been "Mass Voting" up entries you guys think don't deserve as high scores as they have gotten. There's a difference here - people who mass vote are typically those who work in groups and deliberately vote high or low on entries BECAUSE THEY ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO SO by others in that group, rather than giving the entry a score based on what they, THEMSELVES, think is its merit.
Fans who vote up an entry independently and without being told to do so by any third party aren't "Mass Voting". Additionally, many of the artists who are popular on the site have fans that are notified via e-mail whenever those authors have uploaded a new entry. The most popular authors have tens of thousands of fans automatically e-mailed overnight via Newrgrounds' system alone, so it's not surprising that not long after a popular artist uploads their submission, the score fluctuates, the amount of traffic to the entry increases and the number of reviews left increases.
I've also seen people posting stuff about "what Wade likes" in this thread. Where in the fuck has Wade posted, in this thread, what he likes or what he doesn't like? He hasn't! So why are you guys psycho-analysing him over what you THINK he likes or dislikes? It's completely irrelevant to his argument here and you're only making yourselves look stupid by posting that stuff.
There are a number of people who have compared Wade to Hitler (and not for the first time) in here, too. Well, Hitler was a leader of the Nazi party, and those who followed him often did so without understanding or realising the consequences of their actions. In other words, they were being sheep. Doing something that they were told to do, without them questioning why they were doing it, which happened en mass - and that is more comparable to what the "groups" that both support and continue to support these groups' actions, than anything Wade has ever done.
If you guys really are serious about "maintaining your groups", which is what Wade has been banging on about for YEARS, then you will publish a list of WHO is in the group and WHO isn't. Really, it's that simple. Until then, all groups (and "members" (I say that with an air of misfortune, with regards to their names) of them) are doomed to be cast into the same basket, when it comes to general users of Newgrounds (not us) knowing WHO has come from WHERE and for WHAT PURPOSE, or casting aspersions on those users for whatever reason they might have.
I can see this thread dragging on and on and on. So, I'll leave you guys with this. Read back through posts and CRAM IT.
