I looked into his profile and all the flashes he has submitted under this account :::what number is this one 4, 5::: have passed with scores of 0.59 and 0.81. All of them are spam and should be reported to Wade.

I know I voted o and it passed! what an outrage this is its currently, got a score of 1.26 but that's likely to go down. I think something needs to be done. But account deletions and IP may not work. I have seen many of them and all of them are totally shit. If you look this has a few other authors are they the same person I wonder? I'm not much good a spotting what may be an alt or not. Some of the others are not new accounts from 2006 and 2007. If you read the post of one he admits to wanting underdog. I would report its seems to be a DD plus FFF where this all began. I have seen a few lurking about the portal.

Just a reminder: once egregious spam passes judgment, there's nothing we can do. Please do not vote zero on it just for the sake of voting zero...you'll only be helping it get TOTW and thus more exposure.

I have not Slashfirestorm I have been leaving them well alone despite the annoying fact ,that they keep passing, still I expect his account will be gone again soon. Only good thing is the abusive reviews people leave on them why do they bother? its only going to keep flagged. I have just posted some more links to abusive reviews. It really annoys me when a abusive review is marked as helpful, when its clearly abusive for example telling the author that they suck etc. I have not been on the portal much today but I gained around 1 save today so not bad, need around 726! before my next badge got a long way to go yet.

Just written a nice review for that flash but is it worth it? as it highly likely to get deleted again. I did put lots of effort hopefully it wont be rated useless. But I'm very sick of seeing that flash again that's around 3 times now. Nothing seems to work to stop the spammers account deletions etc. Sorry Phantom but I only caught the flash at the last minute your right about the author not being the real autho,r he may have used the name. It had a score of 2.99 then dropped to around 2.67. I will keep an eye on it. Noticed people writing chain letters of course without the thread its harder to spot them.

Were it not for the NSFW title, and the fact that I'm on a university computer, I would. However, I did write a review for one of his other flashes which just passed moments ago. It was funny, I noticed it had a high review score (a few people had given him a 10) and let's just say I felt compelled to write him a thought-out, constructive review, accompanied by a deserved 0. Normally I wouldn't have bothered to leave a review; I don't review things very often, and when I do I put a good amount of effort into it, so I'd be afraid of it getting deleted along with the flash. However, now that spammers seem to no longer have the sole intention of winning TOTW and are gunning for Underdog by mass-reviewing, I reckon I'll wind up reviewing more and more.

In fact, I think that we should make it a short to medium-term mission of ours to constructively review as many of these mass-voted spam flashes as possible. It will hopefully encourage other users to do the same, perhaps encourage some spammers to quit the game (unlikely but possible, look at yoshi77777 / MiharuForever) and stop them from stealing Underdog. A no-lose situation in my view.

The point was actually to bring its review average down, lol.

Not long after I made that post, a review mod hit up the flash and deleted the obvious alt-spammers. Prior to that, its review average was absurdly high for a flash of that, uh, caliber.

Perhaps reviewing spam flash should become another of the EGB's core activities. Other than setting a good example for other Newgrounders and offering legitimate critique to those who clearly need it, it would help prevent award stealing in a completely rule-allowed and easily-done way.

That was good that got deleted at least it wont get the chance to be a stolen award like last weeks. I think what you are suggesting SlashFirestorm, is a good idea its good to write reviews. I have stopped doing them apart from maybe one a month. Although I thought my review was very good and it got rated helpful, so I was a bit sad to see it go, but still if its stopping them getting awards I'm all for it. I have found another spam submission this is by DD again like the last ones a few authors with it

Yes if you look in the obituaries all the (DD) stuff is gone which is great although, I have now lost another review which I don't think was for DD stuff. Well Turd of The Week looks okay hopefully it was won fairly and not by mass voting. I will write more reviews, but maybe for stuff which has already passed and looks like it will stay and not be removed for what ever reason. The game is so hard damn it I cant get past the first level this sucks, I will link to the game its really cool looking game violent, but you use strategy to the missions I would imagine.

I have no idea, but it would be awesome for that to happen. But I also want people to be able to give acceptance speeches and stuff like that. Hell, eventually I would love to see a real show going on; renting out a convention center, people giving speeches, audio portal guys mixing live, shit like that.

Sorry but your not qualified to join the EGB yet, you need a minimum of 2500 B/P's, perhaps you should have read the first post.
You first have to join the NGPD, but at the moment, your not yet qualified to join that either, you need a minimum of 50 posts and 400 B/P, I would look at the NGPD first.

Thank you Phantom just passed the first level I thought maybe that was the solution, its a shame its not on front page. Noticed the latest TOTW has been deleted which did surprise me some what, I guess it was mass voted through which is not on so good going. Lots of the spam is going now. The tank awards are exciting. Some good flash in the portal not been doing any b/p today, but the stuff I have seen looks promising. Another Meet N Fuck game which looks like all the rest. More stuff for The Tank Awards as the date gets nearer.
