Ismael92 very glad you will be doing the roster for now I see I have got a promotion, but then of course I ranked up to Sergent since the last roster some time in November now. Just thinking the new Xmas theme I love because of the way the blue icons look on the buttons, the blue color really works well with the whole look. On b/p I think I could do better its sad to see so many people rank up faster then me. But I like when the roster up its get more people on here. Having Staff Sergent my next goal as well as turning level 28 in January.

Yeah well the second one passed so the PM is about as much as you can do for now. It's also ridiculous how much spam is in the portal right now, a bunch of unrelated crap as always. eventually the admins will get sick of it and delete a bunch of those users, and with good right too.

Do you mean like The Duck Division? they have have been spamming the portal with crap, and left me a abusive message on my user page. I should maybe have approved comments but I prefer real time comments. Another spam user may be an alt of LordZebmork, who had his account locked last month I think. Grumio a spam artist ,and yes Point-Seclusion aka Derek Plato got his account deleted anyway with Cereal gone maybe more soon.

Don't worry, we're not too strict about these things; we just want to make sure that you have a decent posting record (not too many one-liners and no flaming/spamming), don't make abusive reviews or rulebreaking flash, etc..

After a period of discussion amongst the Barracks members, I (or my superiors) will make the final call. Assuming that no objections are raised, this Standby Status should only last approximately 24 hours. I will PM you with the final verdict.

EGB members can go to the appropriate thread for discussion. Remember that you must be logged in to view/post/vote. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Yes,Phantom, it is true - my posting is low. I tend to observe before I speak, so not to embarrass myself. Although I've been here two years, It's only in the past 6 months that I have had the time / ability to really give Newgrounds more time and attention.

I have seen many posts and comments from people who either don't know what they're speaking about, or are just immature and inflammatory in their nature. I have no desire to get into a pissing match with anyone, and at the same time, I won't comment on something that I don't know about.

However: I do know spam, hatred and bias when I see it, and although the First Amendment gives people the "right" to free speech, it doesn't give the right to be abusive. I realize that some Flashes are adult content, and some are parodies, and that there's a lot of new, raw talent trying to make a name for themselves. That's fine. But I can't tolerate consistent spammers and abusers that serve no purpose except to bring negative attention to themselves. They either need to grow up, or get out.

When I heard about the Elite Guard, I realized that there is now an organized group on Newgrounds that feel the same way I do - and I would like to be part of that group, if you would have me.

Don't worry - once I get started talking, it's almost impossible to shut me up.

Well, I'm not sure at all whether the submission itself is abusive at all (though the author comments are abusive, and in the submission there's a link to a website called "Nazi Germany"), but one thing is sure: the person who submitted it didn't created it. So, anyway, it breaks the rules.

Every day, I used to see flashes titled "Puppie&Canines Documents" or "Puppies&Kittens Documents". They have these long, wordy descriptions, but when you click on them, its stupid or deragtory graphics. Clearly spam.

This used to be posted by "Snawsball", and now, on a newly-created account, "RockHardCatPenis" (talk about your unwanted visuals!). Snawsball promotes anti-Semetic and racist attitudes on the home page; RHCP is more neutral.

I've seen other cases where the same long (and bogus) descriptions are used, with only a minor difference in the flash title - and not be anything at all as described.

I know I'm not part of the EGBC (yet?) but what is the proper way to shut these guys down?

If the submission is just stupid or spam, the only thing we can do is vote 0. However, if something is abusive, be sure to post it here, and we'll flag it as stolen/malicious/unsuitable

Another alt of "Duck Division" this has got out of hand this is against the rules, I will Pm Tom Fulp this is not acceptable at all. Spam authors have a nasty habit of picking on users I have seen it with That ScaryMovieguy, picking on a user called TopDog2007 I think his name is. Spam authors to tend to have take that long essay before the flash, that's a good way to spot a spam author sometimes.

Good. Damn, it took Wade a while to deal with their flooding... But they're not stopped yet. The Flashes get deleted, and almost immediately they start submitting it again. It almost takes account deletions for Wade to slow any of the flooders down around here, and nothing seems to stop them...

Yes I noticed that cant Wade Fulp ban there IP address or something? although I just logged my stats and I have got four blams so not such a bad deal. Do you think the above game is stolen? I left a comment asking if it was his game? and he deleted my comment. If he has nothing to hide why would he delete it?. So far nothing from Tom Fulp I will try again.

It's been almost three months since I last posted here. I can't believe I haven't posted in such a long time. Well, since I came back from my school trip, I wasn't very motivated to come back to Newgrounds. Recently I got motivated again, and started some catch-ups in the Wi/Ht thread. And there's still a lot to do.

I could do a catch-up here, but it's been so long since I last posted here that it would take forever. Could anyone give me something like a sum-up of what happened since October? I mean... who joined, who left, what happened in the Portal... I might be asking a lot, but could anyone do me this favour? =)

Also, during that time that I was absent, I leveled up, both in my exp. level and my B/P rank! Now I'm a level 24 Captain! Even though my B/P pace has been quite bad the previous weeks. Heh, I'm coming back. Slowly, but still.

Well, I guess that's it for now. I hope I post here more often.

I can say it has been somewhat quite since you last posted. But we have lost 2 members sonofkirk and corky52, they left because of various resons that i am unsure of. otherwise it has been quite here and the normal conversation has been goin good. The portal has gotted very slow for awhile there and has just picked up and the user cereal was deleted from existence, the occasional stolen flash. Not to much.

Hey, good to know that all that shit from the Duck Division was deleted. If people continue submitting all those [DD] flashes, I'm pretty sure their accounts will be deleted. Wade (or whoever deletes all that spam) is doing a great job!

Also, hi Sir-Nuts! Yeah somethings happened, I'm a member here (I think you already knew that) and I will be taking care of the rosters, at least for some months. By the way, here's the last update ;) Two people left, and two want to join (anyway you already noticed this). And, I think that sums everything up. There has been a lot of spam recently in the portal, but luckily it got deleted :D
