I find it physically hard to misspell...
You don't need fraternities and sororities to have fun. In fact, I had no reason to bother with frats. However, you don't need frats to have fun. You need dorms... :-)
Well all first years are in university accommodation, so everyone has their own room, and each hall will share a big communal kitchen and dining area, which is pretty cool.
Yuengling is one of the few American beers worth trying. Most of the time, I will default to Yuengling (since it's available and, well, awesome), but if you want a comparable good beer to get the feel of a Yuengling, try a Paulaner Lager. Now THAT is a good beer. German, too, so you know you're getting a winner.
Nice. Over here the good beers to go for are Kronenbourg, and my personal favourite right now - Cobra. The latter goes exceptionally well with almost everything, but is amazing with curry, being that it's indian beer.
Long posts are better anyway.
Agreed. Obviously I share the same feelings, as I multi-post like you said. The only problem with multi-posting is it gets difficult to find out who's talking to who. While you can get 4-5 coherent conversations rolling along in one quick post, it's kinda difficult when people need to catch up, or if you are not involved in one specific conversation.
Sometimes, yeah. For me it's slightly easier to pick out quotes directed at me, as my username is all caps, so it's slightly easier to see amidst the rest of the text. I've never really had a problem navigating through long posts... I got used to them when I started posting in the Wi/Ht forums... there was a time in the Level up! Lounge where myself and some other users were making such long posts that we'd need to divide them in half and post them in two parts in order to meet the character limits.
I'm starting too today. I was always happy with posting in Wi/Ht to help people out, and there are quite a few good C&C groups I just never noticed (like the Boy Scout club). Either way, you might see me posting around a bit more...
Wi/Ht is a great forum... of course I have to say that being that I'm on the memberlist. ;P
It's nice to help people out, though, and there's some good stat threads and conversation to take part in. The only downside is that it can be slightly slower than most of the other forums, but TBH, I think that's a relatively small price to pay for having a lot of nicer, more intelligent regulars.

Yea well that gap year and two years in school must be equal because thats how long it to get my motivation back LoL
Well, a year of doing very little other than trying to hold the family together is something of an eye-opener. I suddenly thought "Oh crap, I don't want my whole life to be like this... off to higher education!"
If you become a lawyer, guess what... Tom might hire to be their lawyer for NG and stuff LoL Defend NG's right to publish flash and stuff
Haha! I'm sure they already have a lawyer, but that would be hilarious. I'm probably going to spend a few years as an army lawyer though, so the army will pay for any further bar exams I need to take, etc. Plus I get to make people call me 'Captain' ;P

I'm too young for beer, lol.
So am I in the US, but the legal age is 18 over here, thank god.
Behind every great man is a woman shaking her head in exasperation.
Same thing behind every great woman. What a paralell universe women and men live in.
Every time I shook my head in exasperation at my ex girlfriend, all I got in return was the evil stare...
I suck at compound quoting, but I do agree, lots of very short posts are annoying, even if they are easy to make. Thankfully, I'm gifted with the ability to rant like a motherfucker. I just don't often use my talent, lol.
It's not that hard. I've been doing it for ages now, and it's just something I'm used to. I'd never even think of using separate posts to quote separate people now.
Yeah, I agree with you both. My mom is probably wondering what I'm doing, taking so long to make only one post. I think that short posts back to back are stupid, even if I am slightly guilty of them, myself. We should probably run for the Best Poster contest, what with all our long posting and such.
We could have an EGB best poster award every few months or something... that would be cool.

Yeah, they should be more intelligent than you and with a better vocabulary (since they're older than you). But if you talk a lot, they'll get tired, sleep, and the victory is yours! =P
As long as they don't lapse into a coma before I finish my closing speech...
gfox is without a doubt the best poster ever to grace the BBS. I'm glad he came back after he was demodded, because he sets a great example for the newbies, and he's also fun to talk to.
Yeah, his posts are great. He knows when to bump a thread with his mega-long posts. He and his #;-}>
The best thing was when he finally hit 10,000 posts after his hiatus. It was a big deal for a lot of Wi/Hters, because gfox is practically the heart and soul of the Wi/Ht, along with other people like Coop83 and Bahamut.
Picture below related (you remember this little joke I'm sure)
Haha, of course I remember it. They still haven't fixed your Log Out button... Well, I hope they never fix it.
To be honest, I never really use it... unless I'm logging out to deposit on my alt. When I'm finished for the day on NG, though, I just stay logged in overnight.

Hrm? If you mean State of the Barracks, that's on page
914. If you mean the DEFCON Level, we're at DEFCON 3.
He means the monthly state of the portal thread that Slash makes in our forums, where people talk about what's been going on in the portal over the past month, etc.
Very true. Like I said, I plan on merging the ideas of the forums I made with the forums you made. We'll have a secure system where we have secure forums for officers, forum mods, and members, as well as require authorization for all members of the forums.
For fun, I will be introducing a nice NG-like theme. I will also make up my own blend of forum ranks which will keep you hopping at every step... I've done it before with great success, and I can certainly do it again. :-)
Can't wait for these forums, man. Take your time, though, I have patience.
