Vent is good for voice chatting. Its most popular usage is in WoW, but it'd be good for people to either chat or talk at night. Either way, it'd take me 2 minutes to install and configure so why not install it?

I actually just got back from Microcenter, and got a new surge protector and a battery backup system for the server. Now all I need is a new hard drive for file storage, and we're good :-)

Well if it's so easy , then I might have to get it as well! I've already got a USB mic from my PS3 i could just plug that in and be ready to go! One question though, is it free? Or is it one of those things where the manufacturer wants to charge you for it, but you can get it for free somewhere other than their official website?

Ah...Ventrilo. Ventrilo is one of my up-most favorite programs. Yes, I use to be a WoW junkie, but it is just a great, stable program for voice communication. I'm very happy to hear that we are getting our own. =)

Yay! My heart is pumping oh so pleasantly. I'm looking forward to working on the graphic design aspect of the forums/website and I do believe NEVR is as well. All-in-all it seems that new things are starting to happen a lot around here, just the type of environment I like.

Also, if you're looking for some new wallpaper for your computer desktop, I made a custom, simple, grungy Newgrounds wallpaper. Sorry for you who don't use 1024x768 dimensions, but I don't currently have one to fit your desktop. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from people about it, so I may make more soon. =)

I am indeed. It'll be good to get some new features up and running, and it feels nice to be a part of that. Hopefully these things will benefit the EGB in the months and years to come.

Today I'm going to bring the same message over to the NGPD, although I do not really know how to appeal to them. Most of you know how the NGDD works because you have been here so long, but the NGPD on the other hand may not have as much of a knowledge base of what the NGDD is all about.

I figure I will just go through the basics with all of them and let them know what happens and how it works and also how we are now closer of an ally with the EGB, but would also like to extend our borders to the NGPD as well. Let me know what you all think.

Well, now, let's start off with some problems you might find in the NGPD... First of all, there's a number of people there like TailsPrower, the Police Commissioner, who aren't really active in B/P, or like some others who couldn't make a non-spam post before they joined if their lives had depended on it, and still have some problems at times with posting one-liners and such.. There are probably a few OK members, people who might be interested in joining the Department of Defense if someone shows up to explain it, so you might get a few, but unlike EGB members who are all NGDD material, not every Officer of the Newgrounds Police Department is quite good enough for the Department of Defense. Still, you might find a few good ones. And it's a good idea, building the connections between the three "Portal Protection" groups in C&C so that we can form a united front against rulebreakers in the Portal, so I say go for it.

Yeah, like Joshiwa said, I was far too tired yesterday and fell asleep before 12am GMT, which is when I normally start that list. I'll have it done for next Sunday though.

Whilst we're on the topic of lists, the NEW EXPANDED ROSTER will be up and running tomorrow, so everyone look out for that. I've done a fair bit of work on it so far, but I still need to do some more before it's launch.

Sorry bout the lack of activity over the last few days. But went out celebrating my friends graduation on Thursday, didn't get back home till late Friday & have been working all weekend. But I'm glad to say my B/P has been good over the past day and today. So hopefully I can keep this up all this week :D

Yeah I mentioned it at 12:40 this morning. It has been a fairly busy day in the portal, I already have over 100 B/Ps. I have seen a few really good submissions and few really bad submissions, I am just happy people are not going save happy because they think its suppose to be like Clock Day.

I did not even know it was Lockday such a shame its not as big ,as Clockday they made today some brilliant high quality flash. It makes me sad they dont make flash much anymore, they just has good as clocks. It gives you hope when spammers has given them bad names, before for making spam. When today they produced such quality ,why cant it be like that more often.
