Don't be disheartened if he doesn't respond---he rarely does. But he does usually take care of it, although it can sometimes take a while. Wade is a very busy man.

Well, I'm back from the National Youth Leadership Forum, and let me tell you, it was probably the most amazing experience I have ever had. The friends I made, and the things I did, I'll keep with me forever.

The only problem is, is that I left my carry-on on a taxi from the hotel to the train station, leaving behind all of my homework, various items I brought along, and all of the contact information that I received from those people. And that info hurts the most to lose; I don't care about my phone chargers, homework, glasses or even my passport. I met some great people down there, and made some great friends, and now I have no way to keep in touch with them.

But other than that, it was great. I'll be finishing up my news post about it soon.

It's alright, we all make mistakes. Just try to be more careful in the future.

Remember that we should only whistle if we're sure about it being stolen beyond a reasonable doubt. It's okay if our hesitation leads to something passing---if we find evidence of it being stolen, we can always PM Wade later and get it taken down.

I've always preferred manual lists over automatic ones, even though I made tons of scripts to update all of the lists here on NG =P

You should consider putting BlueHippo and Casuality back on the roster. BlueHippo posted here quite a while ago, talking about the KK (I believe) and Casuality, well, I'm quoting him now.

Well I figured up both of our B/P paces and the good thing from the portal being slow is that I had actually caught up to you last night and we are at exactly the same pace this week so far.

Normally after lunch or so. I'm usually out and about, so I often miss a few during the day. In the evening though, I can pretty much just sit down and use the internet for a few hours at a time, and that's when most of the stuff starts coming through the portal anyway.

I get on at 3:30 myself, but have to take a break from 4:00 to 7:00 or so. I go from &:00 to midnight some nights, longer on weekends. That's the only time I can do more than 40, 50 B/P per night, the weekends (I got Safety Patrol on a Friday night, and by Sunday was Portal Security, if I remember correctly)

It's good when the Portal's busy. That's when the NGDD, the EGB, and the NGPD seem most active. And when I least need to go to General due to lack of activity anywhere else. Not that there's problems with everyone on General, but people can be so stupid there!

Yeah, you're right. I didn't pay attention when Slash wrote "all officers", I read it quickily. Sorry.

But I think the other members that aren't officers should also be able to change the DEFCOM level. My idea is: if a certain ammount of members agree that we should change the DEFCOM level, it would be cahnged. I would base the ammount of members that need to "vote" to change it with their respective B/P ranks. A lower rank would mean a lower inffluence on the vote, just like the NG voting system.

Although, I doubt if that idea will work. It's just an idea, see if you like it or not.

I get here about 2:00 PM local time (GMT -3 hours), which would be mid-day in "Newgrounds time". I also try to get here into the night time, when the Flash Portal is more active. So far i think I got around 50 B/P.

It was, thankfully, blammed. And if it was the same flash, it would still be whistle-worthy for pornography.

As for whistling...that's a bit more tricky. The Portal submission rules state:

Do not re-submit your entry after it has been BLAMMED without making noticeable improvements. It will be flagged!

But there was an instance (can't find it, old anyway) that Wade said not to bother with that, and just to blam it. Of course, with the failure of the B/P system, blamming it doesn't always work. All three of Errors submissions had around a 2---if he hadn't crammed them full of co-authors, they would have passed.

It's a tricky situation. I'll see if I can't get some clarification. In the meantime, I'd recommend just zero'ing resubmits and only whistling if some other rule is broken.

As for DEFCON...any member is free to give their opinion of the DEFCON, although the system is only NEEDED when there's a sudden surge---for example, when things go from 5 to 3, or from standard 3 to 2 (or the chaotic 1). Too much "I think the DEFCON should be this" stuff, especially when there's no urgent attention needed in the Portal, may create a sort of aloofness to it.

When I say "DEFCON 2", I want EGB'ers to go "oh snap" and get out on the Portal and hit some of the flashes...not "oh, okay" it.
