I read a few of the introductory posts and you guys seem like a good group, and if you dont mind a rookie sticking around (and would be willing to throw me the occasional helping tip or some decent advice) that would be great.

Dear civilian x0Exodus0x, you can't join The Elite Guard Barracks. To enter the Barracks, you must have a rank of Private and above (2500 B/P+).

But you can still join the Newground's Department of defense, if you want to join a club related to our Barracks.

Yeah, I read about it yesterday on a Brazilian news site. Did he really die because of a sleeping pills overdose? And he was only 28, which is even worse because his carrer was still in its beginning. Now he'll sleep forever... in peace.

My mother said that her University ages were one of her best years, but it takes a lot of time in your life. And sure, both your future girlfriend and university tasks will take a lot of time in your life, but I hope you can find a small gap between them to go here.

Flash is stolen or not. I know that the audio was from Robert Moran from WittyWizard.com, but I'm not sure if Robert animated it. The only reason that it raised suspicion in my eyes is because the member who submitted that Flash gave no thanks to Robert.

Well if you go to my profile you will find that I made it to 1,000 responses. I believe I am the first person on NG to reach that number and something pretty awesome happens when you do. You can no longer see any of the responses. It just goes to a blank white screen! How strangely cool is that. An upside to that is that I can post comments really quickly(because they still count, I just can't see them). So get ready for a post saying 2,000 replies soon! Thanks to all that helped me reach this goal of mine.

Also, in completely different news, the "Aussie" Heath Ledger death story has taken a new twist. The sleeping pills found on his bed contained every single tablet. Therefore he hadn't taken any before his death. Creeeeeeeepy!

I just managed to view the comments then. I cleared my cache and cookies and refreshed that page and it worked. But when I went to the portal and back again it was gone. I guess once it loads other things it just doesn't have anymore room. Oh well, it's pretty awesome none the less!

Just wanted to drop in to say a few things:

Congrats to Sterockicy on his 1,000 userpage comments! I know a lot of them were made himself, but still, it's all good fun.

Also, I have an interview tomorrow with my Army Careers Adviser, so if that goes well I may be a real Lieutenant in a few years time. Wish me luck! :P

Lastly, my B/P pace has slowed down a bit this week, so all the people behind me should use this window to catch up! Thankfully, none of you are going to pass me (at least not this week), as ever-vigilant is the closest user behind me, and I'm just under 1,000 B/P ahead of him, so I can rest easy for now.

That was my end of day total. Not too bad, considering I had to suffer all of Wednesday evening without internet connection at all. You heard it, I'm not Corporal Nuts anymore, now I'm Sergeant Nuts! I got my new rank this afternoon, when the Flash Portal was very slow and monotonous. It was hard, but it was worth. Now I have a total voting power of 7.36. And a few days ago I reached something that I wanted: less than 2 saves per Blam. It's not an achievement, but I kinda like it.

Also, today I made my 1000th post! I posted it in the abusive reviews thread, but I still defend its lock. They have to make another thread with new, clear rules.

Damn, that sucks. My internet connection has mysteriously been lost on a few occasions, which I assume is to do with my ISP messing up somehow. Still, it's always irritating when you have very little to do and your internet is dead. Hope it gets fixed soon man.

Congrats! You're now on to possibly one of the most irritating stages of your B/Ping career, namely the stretch of 5 ranks of progressive Sergeants: Sergeant; Staff Sergeant; Master Sergeant; Sergeant First Class; and Sergeant Major.

I was incredibly relieved to be past that phase, especially considering I had to go though the last 3 Sergeant ranks again after the redesign, due to the requirements going up.

Both connections are now back and running, while I managed a half-decent 29 yesterday to sort of recover (Bringing my total loss of pace from the benchmark of 30/day to 7 points in 2 days *shock*) I'm gunning for a big day today, to get my averages up and recommence my pursuit of Dream-of-Duke and that coveted spot in the top 50 B/Pers :)

Heh, I look forward to the day that you finally overtake Dukey. It'll be glorious. Personally, I've had a reasonable 2 days B/Ping, got 62 yesterday and I'm currently at 61 today. Not too shabby, although I remember a few weeks ago I was getting 90-120 a day.

Don't worry, it won't last for long. Once you get into the top 300 it gets increasingly harder to get your rank higher - I'm at the stage where some days I don't move rank at all. The higher you are, the worse it gets.
