He lives in Israel. While it was the 26th for us, for him it was the 27th.

And I hope it isn't real or it's just some sort of way he's working out his feelings, by writing them down or acting them out in this way.

I am sorry I haven't been posting like I used to but from the date you made this post until my last post wasn't exactly 3 months. I think I did explain that work has kept me away from posting in this topic plus when I did have the time to post I didn't have anything relevent to post here and I didn't want to spam so hence my reason for not posting here. As for my slow B/P rate I only B/P to deposit my Exp with the exception of clock day.

On a side note how was everyone's chirstmas? mine was much better then my last one (for all those who don't remember I had a fire in my house last chirstmas eve) I hope no one here ever has to go though that.

Lord I hope so.

I know it's not easy to make a transition, but I believe that this club must move on to something happier. Nothing is definite with Phantom's situation, since none of us live near him. It might even be that we will never know, which would be devastating. Either way, we must continue the work of the EGB, and keep living our lives, even if Phantom felt that he didn't want to live his.

Today I got the 80 gig PS3. Kind of a belated Christmas, Birthday, and helping out during the summer gift. Granted, I had to kick in ~80% of the cost, but at the rate I was recieving and spending money, I would never reach my goal.

Don't have any games for it yet besides Motostorm. Also don't currently have internet, but that's being fixed right now with a system update.

I just posted in the NGDD if you want to read it, and I am narrowing down his location constantly, I have his school and his town, of 18,700 occupants, so if i can find a newspaper from there and someone who knows Hebrew, we should be able to know soon.

Thanks, it's good to know there was someone close to him that he was able to talk to in his final hours (or not if he hasn't gone through with it, which I hope he hasn't). Also thanks for any news you can provide on the situation- part of me doesn't really want to know, and I know Phantom well enough to know he wouldn't joke about this and that he has had a lot of problems in his life, but I hate seeing all the people on here showing so little respect so at least some definitive news would shut them up and let those of us that care pay our respects, or talk to him if it isn't too late.

If Dan really has gone through with it then he will be greatly missed, especially here, a place where he has made many friends.

Although I never liked Phantom, he is/was still a cool guy and what the EGB would be without him? Personally, I think that Phantom is too cool and mature to end his life this way. Hopefully, is death note is nothing but a joke. I have faith that he will be back.

First thing you should do is sign up at the EGB forums, so I can validate you and allow you full access.

Incidentally, I plan to re-organize and re-vitalize the Barracks forums in the near future. Been ramshackle for way too long, and a lot of the old projects and such are out of date, needing reformatting, or no longer needed.

Also, about the Phantom situation: barring his return (which I'm hoping will happen; I've been down the road before and saw the dead-end in time to turn around, and he's got much better vision than me; I ain't writing his obituary just yet), we more-or-less operate the same. There are enough long-time members to keep this place operating smoothly, and the next time EagleRock shows up, we'll discuss where the Barracks is going to go if, indeed, the worst has happened.

- Using alts to form some clan of mainly just himself

He does appear to be a user in good standing, but again, I've been gone for a month (and barely active for much longer), and am a bit out of the loop, so I'll have to look at this carefully.

I will say, though, that I think the Barracks should be somewhat lenient and forgiving of past behavior---I know that more than one or two of us has been a point-whore at some point in our past, and the same goes for questionable flash (although stolen flash would be a much more serious matter).

However, if there has been questionable behavior RECENTLY (as in, within the past few months), that is something that must be seriously considered.

I will withhold any further opinion until Yoshi has a chance to reply.

I don't know if he is dead yet.. im watching his school website and trying to find a newspaper local to him, but my mates Hebrew is a little rusty, but we havn't found anything yet..
