Without the awards i doubt they'd try spamming so much and they wouldn't need to spam reviews as well. Actually, when the top 10 are chosen it really IS the Clock Crew choosing. That top 10 is different from the Daily top 5 and thus it doesn't go by highest score.

I actually view Tom as the owner of this site vice an admin. I mena, he IS the owner AND an admin, but Wade should be the one taking hard stances. I view it like the military. Everyone loves the Captain and everyone hates/fears the Executive Officer.

Wade should take a much larger, more visible role on Newgrounds and be Tom's HAMMER, while Tom can be the smiling face of NG.

Yes the spam is annoying, but that is what it is at best, an annoyance. You really shouldnt be quite so hard on the admin about the spam as they are probably doing all they can and once they get some more time we might see Wade or Tom get BPB on the spammers ass, all we need to do is try and help them in the portal and pickout the bigger spam issues that really do need to be resolved and hope they can deal with it.

Well, I know they took the gravel traps off the main circuit, as too many cars were drifting out there and getting stuck. Next year, they will have removed that gravel trap from the pit entry.

Raikkonen is good, but he's not the best. Better drivers than him have gone their entire careers without a Wrold Crown, like Gilles Villeneuve or Sir Stirling Moss.

There is a really simple solution that I see, to get rid of a lot of spam. The admins need to realize that the majority of people voting in the Portal don't even view the movie. They need to make it so you have to open the movie in order to vote, and make it wait so long after the movie is fully loaded. It worked great the way they had it back in the day, it was just slow which was fine.

This would force the viewer, for the most part, to view the submission and then come to the conclusion to whether or not they enjoy it and vote accordingly. Nobody can deny that the spam is getting out of hand.

Anyways, I'm back off to the Portal to attempt to make a difference.

I think we need to compile some sort of list of "-Days" with the date they take place and such. Well, what it would do is list when the -Day was. It would go like "Batman Day - 5/23" and then the Portal will have a lot more protection against spam and rule-breaking submissions if we have more people to help prevent it. There would be no congregation of what to vote and what submission, but this way it isn't a bunch of people 5-ing anything that comes through.

Agreed, this system is a step backwards from what we used to have. The skin system should allow us to link the flash viewing up to the vote panel, so when you reach the end, you can trigger the vote panel. In the meantime, you should be encouraged to leave feedback

That is a problem. But not only is Tom an Admin, but he also runs the site. That means he's the CEO of this site; he has to be the one saying "we should get rid of this" or "we should do this, to make the site better". Tom is the face of the company, and his, and only his, give you an idea of what this site is all about.

The current system is a step backwards, I whole heartedly agree. Yeah, if they had to wait until the end of the movie to vote, that would be great. The only problem is a Flash that loops at the end. I think you should have to wait like thirty seconds to a minute after the Flash fully loads before you can trigger the vote panel.
