I also finally reclaimed my rank that I had lost when the redesign was introduced. Now presenting the new and improved Elite Guard Staff Sergeant PossiblePancakes! It took a while since I wasn't getting many saves due to all the spam I zeroed that still passed. It looks like it will be a long road to Elite Guard Supreme Commander but I'm determined and I will achieve it one day. Although at this pace I'll be a moderator before a Supreme Commander.

I honestly believe that if the Newgrounds staff would raise the time the voting bar took to load after clicking "Watch This Movie/Game" and raised the score to pass to 1.75-2.00 that Portal would be at a new highpoint in its career. I don't know what they are thinking, but something must be done and fast.

Well, I suppose I better go back to the Portal.

I think that a minimum score boost to 1.75, maybe 1.80 would be more than fair...it's a small enough boost that few could be opposed to it. However, a raising of the score requirement would be all but useless unless it were accompanied by more rigorous monitoring of submissions (to insure against mass-alt-submitting and the like) and more fair voting.

After all, most of the spammy shit passes with well over 1.60, with scores of 2.00-2.50 for one-frame shit being the rule rather than the exception.

Yes but if I'm not wrong a couple days ago the admins deleted a bunch of spam movies by the KK. A lot of the Brain Dog stuff was deleted, which means they are aware of the problem. Which is a start.

It is a good thing they are aware of the all the spam that is getting through. They just need to take measures that make it easier for the regular members to take control of the situation.

I think there should be a rule that doesn't allow users to use other ppl flash images... The one used for the flash... the little 64x64...
Because, ppl think that it is the 2nd part or at least... that is the same author.. and ppl give a good score...

I'm not saying that is necessary to delete the entire submission, but... make something that change the icon... delete the icon.. and tell the author to get their own...

Yeah, lots of spam was cleared, thankfully NG admins are aware of this problem and are taking care of it, maybe one day NG will be spam free all together.
