I've decided to organize a Whistle Improvement Project on our forums!
I like your thinking, soldier!
The only 'critical' purpose it would serve is getting any Garbage Whistle members/potential members up to Normal or higher, but since no current members have Garbage Whistles, that's not a problem, heh.
To be honest, that is a requirement to join the Barracks (no garbage whistle). If a member obtains a garbage whistle, it's required to get it clear. This is a rule that kinda fell through the cracks, but it's there.
However, lots of Barracks members don't have Deity Whistles. If you desire one...or even just upgrading to bronze/silver/gold from whatever you're at, post there and get involved!
I'll consider it...I may want to start lurking on the abusive reviews thread to get started. I'd like at least a gold if I can.
Note that a lot of whistle functions are not yet operational due to the redesign, so some goals of this improvement project won't be available until they are. I don't know if whistle points are even counting at the moment (I've sent absent a PM asking him, lol), but even if they're not, we can still get started so people will be ahead when it IS back up, heh.
Good call. I'd like to know when you find out as to whether it's working or not.
Thanks again for all your hard work, Slash!

Well, I'm sure as you all know, today is Anti-Clock Day. I'm not sure if there is going to be an unusual amount of Flashes in the Portal today, but I'll be here for the majority of the day to help out. I think we should keep an eye out for rule-breaking Flashes, because special days like this always seem to contain them.
Agreed. DEFCON is updated below.
Hopefully, today won't be a horrible day in which Meatspin and such get through the Portal, which I highly doubt due to the fact that there isn't 50+ Under Judgement Flashes in the Portal right now. You would think that since Clock Day is all about voting 5s, that Anti-Clock Day would be all about voting 0s, but that is not the case.
Well, either way, it's going to be about voting fairly, so your voting shouldn't change whether they are mass 0'ing or mass 5'ing. I don't think there will be a huge "skew" of votes, either, as that only seems to happen for Clock Day. Others like Lock Day are popular, but votes are much less biased.
I'm not pulling a DoD either, so don't get my message misinterpreted.
Quite okay.
Here's a:
DEFCON Update:
I'm increasing the DEFCON to DEFCON 2 for now, as the flaggable submissions are high in rate at the moment. I expect more to occur as the day goes by. Keep diligent and use your VP and your whistle to its extent!
