After adding up some numbers, it seems that I have 4,354 B/P total. My last promotion occurred on Sunday Jan. 8 2006, so assuming that my promotion occured at the end of that day (even though it didn't), and knowing I won't be back online today (in all likelihood), my current B/P per day count for the past 10 days is a paltry 35.4. This I cannot allow. I must step up and do the Elite Guard proud!

yes, the portal is very slow, and it's been that way for a while.
i don't know why people hjust stopped submitting flashes :/ my avverage b/p points a day have gone down a lot, now it might take 1,5-2 weeks until my next promotion and that bothers me alot.
in times like these i wish more people would submit more crap :/

DEFCON Update:

Since the Portal is consistantly taunting us, I have to drop the DEFCON to DEFCON 5. I believe this is the third time ever that I'm doing this, but at this rate, it deserves it. I left for over 30 minutes and only two new sumbissions came on the Portal. That's 4 entrants per hour, which will basically kill anyone's average. We'll see how the Portal continues to act. In the meantime, enjoy the peacetime on the Portal!

Also, note that DEFCON 5 DOES have a the expectation of a single attack built in, but any attack at this stage will almost surely increase the DEFCON.

4 entries are submitted in the last 15 minutes. I think that the DEFCON level should rise to 4 right now.

The lack of activity in the portal has actually benefited me a little.
Ive been specifically trying to get 1,000 posts for the last few days and ive done at least 10 today and hopefully I can the next 5 or so in today, so this extra time is welcome.

Ive also been taking a deep look at the Top 300 b/p list just keeping an eye on whos infront and whos trying to catch me. Things are looking alot better than they were a few days ago. = )

I've seen stranger. One flash got a little over 2,000 views while UJ, like almost 12 every copule of seconds, because i refreshed and the views went up like or more. It depends on how much votes and what kind of votes are cast upon a flash to either blam it or save it.

I've seen that happen a few times. Once, I saw a UJ submission with over 2000 views. It's probably someone trying to refresh it over and over again.
