I have done pretty well in the portal today actually, but after a while of protecting and blamming(when the portal was slow) I decided to make a couple of flash icons, always fun and passes the time.

Thats great, now all you need to do is find someone who will take the regular beatings that occur in the process. But as we all know they will rise up and kill their master once they surpass you to begin their own reign of tyrnanny (sp?) that will make yours pale in comparison. So may I be the first to say it was nice knowing you before the inevitable demise of one of our vet's.

Hey Guys, sorry about my absence life getting in the way as usual. Well I'm here to tell you that I just got promoted to First Lieutenant, after amounting 11000 B/P points.
I'm quite happy about this as I'm exactly on schedule and it's boosted my VP nicely too, 7.50 exactly. Any ways I'm off to sleep.

Two things.

1) Be on the alert for fileswaps, as we had several yesterday.

The protocol for dealing with them may be dusty (from the Barney Bunch days), but it still applies.

If you see a fileswap, report it to the Barracks and say that you're going to PM Wade about it. We only want one EGB member sending a message, lest we piss Waid off with incessant repetitive PM's. Do not PM him without checking the Barracks to see if anyone else has covered it first.

Remember that many fileswaps start as stolen flashes; it is imperative that if we notice a stolen flash, and have evidence of the original, that we get it whistled while we can. Report it both here AND in the NGPD, as well to any buddies you know who would care about such a thing.

I cannot stress enough that we must have PROOF (as in, the URL of the original) before taking this course of action. We will not round up a whistle-posse based solely on suspicion, or we may all get in trouble.

If the flash passes anyway, go ahead and follow the same protocol as if it'd been fileswapped already; report to the Barracks about it, and declare your intention to PM Wade. If it is fileswapped before Wade reads it, he'll be able to figure it out with his mighty admin powers, don't worry.

Also, remember that not every title-changed flash is a fileswap; if you're not SURE that the title-changed flash is different than it was while Under Judgement, do not PM Wade about it. We must assume a flash is innocent until proven guilty. If it WAS fileswapped, someone in the EGB or NGPD will have noticed.

Of course, this point is moot if the passed flash is of a whistle-able nature; ie, it doesn't matter if you saw it or not during judgement if it's granny porn or something, as obviously that would not have passed judgement if it was that file during UJ.

Anyway...

GUESS WHO'S BACK!

Hello everyone, its really good to be back at home from my 12 day camp. I got back around 20 hours ago but I was so tired I practically fell asleep at the computer desk. I only had time to say thanks to Shanus and get a few b/p points :P

Going to Central Australia was a really great trip and for the first time I got to see the landscape Australia is widely known for. I saw many great landscapes I will most likely never see again (Including Uluru). Unfortunately I did not get the chance to climb the great rock but I did get to touch and walk around the phenomenon.

While I was away I heard the shocking and disturbing news that Chris Benoit had committed a murder-suicide. I was not completely sure about what happened but it really shocked me for a few days. I have now read up on it and it still shocks me terribly but I am at least filled in on all of the details.

Again I would like to thank and congratulate Shanus on the great job he did on the Barracks update as well as depositing for me over the last 12 days! Good job mate!

Finally I would like to say hi to you all and I'm back for good now!

Na I didn't bring any back. There was a museum near the rock made by the aboriginals. It basically just told us DO NOT CLIMB THE ROCK! and all of their beliefs etc. At the end of the tour there was a book full of letters from people who did take some rock and how they returned it because it brought them terrible luck. Quite frankly I found it a little suss because many of the letters where only a couple of lines and none of them explained what had happened to them. I don't really believe in that stuff and I think that many people have bad luck for no reason and its just coincidence that they got it after they took some rock. Thats just me though.

What he did is inexcusable and I do not take any pity on him. Part of the fact he took massive amounts of steroids is probably the reason he did what he did but you cant blame the steroids for that. It was his own choice to take them in the first place and what occurred due to that is completely his fault. I feel sorry for his victims and their family's.
