Ahh, my apologies for not noticing you! Surely you are welcome to the Barracks as a new recruit! And yes, 26 days is a very short time to make it here...it shows much promise in you as a new Private!

The only think you need to know about addressing people, Private, is that you refer to your superiors as "sir." Generally, people of equal or lower rank, it is customary to refer to them as their title, such as "Private." Other than that, show your due respect and you're golden.

In terms of B/P, just do what you did to get here. You are an Elite Guard now and surely know how to B/P, so we don't have any rules or anything...all we ask is that you vote as fair as you can on all flash, as every single one (yes, even the Barney Bunch) deserves a fair vote. However, I'm surely not telling you anything new.

The last thing to note is that we have our own Barracks Forums (link is in my sig) that you can join on. Plenty goes on there and you will be missing out on a lot if you don't join.

Other than that, just enjoy the Barracks! Glad to have you here, Private!

Well, Elite Guard Private isn't much to get, but it feels a lot when you try to aim for it at the start. I took two months from when I knew how to B/P to get to Elite Guard Private. Your B/P pace is around 57 a day, which is very good. You are doing very well on NG so far.

I have an awful headache so I'm lying down right now ( my place has a sweet yet chaotic bundle of cords so I can B/P lying down in my own bad. Just comes to show other countries are evolved enough to become very lazy as well... I'm glad over my next few number ranks ups but too bad it is no challenge because the few I'm passing right now were not heard from in over a week or so. Still tomorrow I hope to make the official entry at #197.

We dont have that holiday in Canada, so im not quite up to speed with his accomplishments but I do know he fought (peacefully) for black rights during the 60's and was assasinated at a young age.
But thats pretty much all I know of him.

Today was a very strong day...too bad I didn't capture all I could of it. I woke up late (around 1100 hours) and surely missed a lot then. Also, I was out for an hour or two around the afternoon (1300-1500 hours I believe), so I probably missed at least a couple dozen potential points there. Oh well, if I hit my quota, I'm happy. Of course, Sergeant First Class SlashFirestorm has to set a fire under my ass, so we'll see how long this charade goes. It makes me sympathize with Praporshchik Major_punk...

Oh well. Back to the Portal for me until I feel exhausted enough to retire to the bunks...

I totally agree with EGSL innphernoe here. Sometimes, when an author resubmits the same craps that he sumbitted already a while ago, people could not remember. As the result, they got blammed again before being flagged. I personally hate the case because whenever it happens, I and the others who whistled lose our whistle points for attempting to flag blammed entries. I have not seen EGSC nimmer for a while, sir! Even if he returns, I believe that our barracks need more than 1 person to report for malicious entries. For the benefits of the portal, I would love to put the duty on my shoulders, sir!
