Today's been pretty...meh...portal-wise. Not particularly impressive.

Well, as many of you probably know, I submitted Slash Returns: HAISTLWU last night (along with my tiny lil 420 tribute which, by some miracle, passed). After I update my main fanfic and satisfy all the readers who have been begging for an update for two weeks, I'll get started on the first Secret Episode Special. ^_^

Slash has been run through before (twice, actually), and been fine. Of course, he was revived those times by ranking up...who knows what'll happen in the next Slash Returns... :-D

Heh, forgot to mention that in my first full week back in the Barracks, I am once again top of the mountain.

But damn, that pace is still really slow compared to the summer of '06, where 1000+ a week was possible, and 800+ was common. I hope the portal gets a huge speed boost as college semesters are beginning to end and summer break approaches for schools...I miss the thrill of the star.

I got atleast 40 b/p's today, that's not normal, for me atleast. I should have a little more payload for tomorrow, no pun intended.

I actually went ahead and made a second Myspace solely to have updates/sign-ups for my flashes and such.

It'll help me be more organized, I think...normally, when I'm planning and working on flash, I have a loose net of notepad documents, picture and audio files, and .fla's cluttering my desktop...heh.

I'm not too worried...the SS tends to pump out a lot more gold than crap (hell, last Star Day's Night of Fire Collab is on my favorite list). The main threat comes from posers who will try to use this day to their advantage.

So apparantly, today is Star Day. Other than Pico Day, and Clock Day, I never really knew what days fell on what dates. I really should keep a schedule on this kind of thing.

Nevertheless, today shall be a good day for b/ping.

Meh. Whether it's by a SS member or not, things in the name of the SS are generally pure crap.

Anything crap in the portal always gets my zero. But good SS Flash get good marks form me. I'm not going to see "SS" and auto-blam, that's just dumb. So far I have seen ONE very good SS Flash "Star Day 2007: Sinitron" and one ok one "Star Day 07 =Penta=" was kinda' funny.

The rest were garbage up to this point.

You know what sucks? I had a Star Day flash I made a long time ago...an interview with Sevenstar...that was unfairly flagged when I submitted it. It would have made a great SlashClassic, but alas, I checked my folders and it seems that I lost the .swf at some point.

Dammit dammit dammit. It was a good one, too...

I'm too busy to make a new one for this year, too. Bah. Ah, well.

On a similar note, I've already begun preliminary storyboarding for Clock Day '07. I know that damn near anything passes on Clock Day, but, like Clock Day '06, I intend to put significant effort (for me, anyway) in my celebratory flash.

I guess I'll go and finish chapter 7 of my Pokemon lemon fanfiction now. Because that's just how much of a nerd I am.

Secondly, as some of you may well be aware, AfroUnderscoreStud is cutting back his BBS posting to one list per week - the B/Pranks 51+. I'm sure we all hold this dear to our hearts, with how closely it is tied to the Barracks.
