Peguinlink it has been said before but I will say it again. Don't respond to spammers they only want attention. Juat ignore them and let Phantom deal with them since he is the one in charge. If you give spammers attention they will come back and spam more to piss you off.

Well my day has been awesome thanks. I may have got something like 10 B/P points in total as a result, but skiing was well worth it. The conditions were near perfect today up in the Rocky Mountains, and I picked up the basics pretty quickly. I don't even feel too stiff now, which I had been told I would. All in all a great day.

And hopefully tomorrow will be just as good :D

I'm sorry? But I don't think this individual was spamming. He was only making comments, not spamming the place up. He indeed, in his last post, make rude comments but I was solely giving my opinion on the state of matter. No offense, LittleWashu, but it seems ironic to me that you mention to not to respond to "spammers" because sometimes I have seen you create threads that spam/or have no use. An example would be the thread you created some time ago that requested a petition to delete a Newgrounds' "Bot" of some kind. And if I am mistaken, please do say so.

It frustrates me to see that you still believe I respond/responded to spammers because if you recall correctly, the last time I responded to a spammer was when I had weeks of being a member here in the Elite Guard Barracks, and if you remember, I gave my word to never do so. I wouldn't say it was as much of a spammer as it was just a random yet annoying comment. Admitted, I responded to it violently and in my own way, but after an exchange of comments and views, he left. So in my eyes it's rather justified.

My question is, are they even a group? The Barney Bunch and Kitty Krew at least have some followers that help make flash for them and (god forbid) help those flash pass judgment. These people (who I would guess likely only consists of 1-8 people) just like to send their crap through the Portal over and over.

So far, no FLEEK flashes have passed, so whatever fan-base they have isn't enough to mass vote them through.

I say we just be grateful for the Blam points ^_^

Wait for it though. I'm sure they will find some people with enough time on their hands to form a fan base and mass vote all their stuff through. Just be thankful they aren't pulling the same crap others have pulled in the past by creating many accounts and flooding the portal non-stop almost all day. They could be a side unit of another, larger group but that wouldn't explain their flashes getting through since majority of the groups mass vote. I only hope it doesn't get out of control with other new groups coming in as well, but I haven't seen any "FLEEK" flashes in the portal for a while so I think it may have died down for now.

That is a good point. The fact that they've stuck around this long shows that they have some sort of determination. Mass voting may end up being a possibility. As you said, there are people with too much time on their hands.

My main concern would be if they decided to give up spamming the portal directly, and instead began submitting good flashes, then switching them up (a la Barney Bunch). However, this seems highly unlikely, as the current users of FLEEK don't seem too skilled in flash (this could always be on purpose, however). You just never know with Portal Spammers.

Yes, my guess is that they'll sooner or later realize that. Speaking of which, there have been fewer Spam submissions these days. Of course, there have been a couple but I remember late 2006 and early this year the spam attacks were constantly flooding the portal. But it all died down, which is nice to see.

Yes, somehow it failed to work one day. Phantom has contacted EagleRock, and they are trying to see what the problem is. Our forums are very important to me, and to everyone I believe, because that's where Phantom's great FAQ is and where out memberlist is located at, etc. Without it, we can't direct newcomers to it so I hope we can get it fixed soon.

The Fleek animations don't bother me at all- there is nothing wrong with movies getting the scores they deserve, even if they are submitted over and over again. Should they start getting mass voted, then I'll be annoyed.

And you're right, there do seem to be less spam submissions about- hopefully it will stay that way *touches wood*.

I watched 300 today (don't worry, no spoilers), and it was great. Not as good as Sin City in my opinion- I preferred the story in that, but the action was very well done. Kind of a combination of the lighting and camera effects of Sin City, and the battles were reminiscent of Lord of the Rings and Gladiator, at least in my mind. It was also surprisingly funny, which I wasn't expecting. I haven't read the graphic novel, but I hear it is pretty accurate to that.

Go watch it though, it's well worth it.

That combined with watching the football (Plymouth lost ): ) means I've got a massive 30 points this weekend! To be honest I don't care though- it's been the best weekend I've had in ages :D.

Sorry for the long period of time without posting but this long weekend for me has been a really bad one and I havent been able to get on NG at all.

Reason, Well I was caught on the computer by my hipocritical Dad at 5:30 in the morning on Saturday. He has already put a password on the computer so that only him and my mum can get on. Anyway, he doesnt realise that I know the password and have for about 7 months (quite funny really). So anyway, he caught me on it and decided that he would put a password on the screensaver AS WELL so that if the computer is logged on and is left alone for 5 minutes it will go to the log in screen. Anyway, this was a real bitch of a thing because I cant get on the computer unless I know he wont see me and think I know the password, therefore changing it and making me more pissed. He doesnt realise how hipocritical he is, He is on the computer all day at work (8 hours) and then he comes home and goes on it (4 hours). Why the fuck does he complain when I go on it for 5 minutes to b/p?

Then Sunday came and I was forced to go see this shitty thing called "The birdman rally" which consists of some dickheads putting feathers and jumping into a filthy lake. BORING! Then I was informed that it was Chinese new year and we were going to my Dads work collieges place (they are chinese) and celebrating. All they did for the whole night was sing Karaoke (Really bad singing) and eat. I spent the whole time playing 'Guitar Hero' on their PS2.

Monday (today) is labour day and that means my Dad had today off too. So he spends 5 hours in the morning on the computer screwing around with shit he does. He then has breakfast and gets back on the computer to continue doing shit. Once he is done he logs off the computer so noone else can go on. FUCK YOU DAD, FUCK YOU!

I managed to get on it now because my whole family decided to go to the park with my relatives. I stayed home because I have been having majorly bad hayfever all week, plus I think I deserve to go on the computer.

As you can see, my whole weekend has been shit house! Luckily tommorow is a curiculum day at my school and I will be home alone most of tommorow.

I am really hoping to get 8000 b/p points by then, which would have happened a long time ago if it wasnt for this weeks bad turn of events.

As you can see, I am pretty pissed off right now and I dont have enough energy nor time to double quote. Sorry for my leave of absents and I hope to catch up on things tommorow.

In other news, I had a great day yesterday. Other than watching 300 (Which is a good movie. If you haven't seen it, do so), I finally managed to find a Wii in stock. And I must say, after looking at the Xbox 360 and PS3, I was surprised when I saw how small it was in comparison. Despite the fact it took nearly 15 minutes to set up the thing itself, I had a blast with it. I lost one or two hours of sleep to it, but it was worth it.

Also, playing WarioWare when you're sleep deprived is the funnest thing I've done in quite a long time.

Well it's been a while since I've posted here and if anyone's noticed my B/P points haven't been rocketing up like they use to. If you haven't guessed this will be another giving out type post like Sterockicy's.

Well my lack of activity on NG in general is due to a few simple things.

1. My ex, this the main reason for my life being shitty in general for the passed few months, but I recently found out, from a girl that I'm quite good friends with, that she was making out with this guy in her class. Now I shouldn't be that bothered but the reason we broke up was she was too busy with school and her family etc, and plus the guy is someone I suspected of liking her while we were going out. So she's kinda made my life hell with fights and rubbing in my face. And what this has to do with NG is cause she's use the internet to flirt with the guy and it just made me want to shut off my laptop.

2. As of the last 4 weeks I've been homeless, living at friends and sofas. Not the nicest way to live. Staying up till like 4 and waking up at 2, making the last 4 weeks of college disappear. 1 lecture in 4 weeks. Not the greatest record of all time.

3. Work, after a week of sleeping late and enjoying college life, I must get up at 6:30 in the morning and work. It's not difficult but the hours kill and the worse thing is my exes brother is my manager, and he hates me for no good reason.

Now after all those excuses and reasons why I've not been that active, good news. Recently turning 18 has given me alot more freedom etc, and my house party will be on this Saturday. And of course I'll be on NG all night B/Ping. And on top of that I've got 3 weeks off college so I'll be on NG all that time. And if all that wasn't enough, it's also Paddy's day on Saturday and Ireland is insane on that day.

I'm sorry if that post was a bit ranty etc, but I thought I'd get my activity back with a bang.
