To be honest B/P is getting increasingly pointless in my mind- there are so many mass voted spam submissions in the portal at the moment and it is becoming ridiculous. It is really beginning to bother me just how many points I lose in a day for voting what I see as fairly. I'll keep on doing my part to protect the portal, but don't be surprised if I start to slow down a little, especially as the weather begins to improve.

Well my excuse is school of course, When I get home from school I try to post but find that there is nothing to talk about, as nobody else has posted. I guess everyone else does similar to that. Is it up to me to come up with another topic of interest like me last one?

Yes, yes, YES! It is becoming ridiculous. So many entries pass that are spam. Every day I see more and more [KK] [UU] Entries being submitted and they all pass! Most of them are pure garbage too. I am not going to get deeper into this topic as we all remember what happened to DoD, But I just want to express that I find the portal becoming more and more like a place to post spam.

Whatever the "authors" (if you can even call them that) achieve by submitted this junk is anybodies guess. In my opinion the problem is caused by the turd of the week award which is becoming ever so popular between rivalry clubs. Remove this award and I think the portal will become a more "spam free" place.

I honestly cant see what the appeal of Turd of the week is. "I made something shit and here is the proof". Im surprised that they are willing to wast their time on such a trivial award. Indeed, entries now are more spam than ever and it just hurts to see as they shit on everything NG ever stood for. NG was about submitting the best flash you could make and if the public saw it fit, it would stay, but now it's deteriorated into a shit pile of spammers and mass voters who trick the system so that instead of worthy entries, only crap remains. Which explains my decline in B/P, there is just no fairness left.

It has been slow in the Barracks indeed. I've been here, it's just that well it takes a member to reply to a post I made or another member's post quite some time. (The record of no one posting in a while is currently 12 hours. Yikes.) You'll get snow again? That's too bad. :( Over here in California the rain will be coming back sooner or later as well. Although I tend to think snow is more fun than rain. :D

The thread was going to sink into the third page of the Club and Crews forum, which is quite sad. This is a great place, and it shouldn't be left in the dark burrows of the forum. I guess many members don't find this place the great club it once used to be or maybe they're to busy to post anything. But whatever the reason, this place is technically the best club for me there is in Newgrounds and it really hurts to see it become inactive.

Maybe it is because unlike other clubs that get regular posts, we dont have competititions etc. Also I think, the majority of users who are members to this thread are of an older age and therefore have jobs.

The same goes for me. I am always here and ready for any type of discussion or conversation. The thing is that I hate double posting, so that explains why I also didn't post anything for sometime. Of course everything I've said isn't still in terms, of course one day at one point or another it will happen but surely not soon. One day with the coming of older age, I will too have to leave, much like General/Admirals and such who eventually resign. But seeing as I have my honesty, I will never leave until I know I'm no longer needed, plus the small fact that while my rate is slowing down, even I have a place in the Hall of Fame of B/P (D0GMA's site) and as long as NG has a Flash Portal, I'll be around. Damn spammers are making it less fun than before, but hopefully Tom and Wade will get sick of it one day and clear all the spam and do something or another to make sure those bastards have seen their last day here.

Wow, your teachers can hit you? I thought that was banned from schools along time again. Then again, it could just be in my great country that that is ruled out. I'm not sure, I am really quite bad at knowing what happens in other countries.

I was talking to this guy who I met on online Halo and I kept on converting Celcius degrees to Farenheit. Turns out they dont use Farenheit in South America. Then I asked him if it winter there ( Its summer here) and he said that South america is under the equator. Man I am hopeless!

Inactivity is part and parcel of being in the C&C forum. There can't always be something to talk about, or users online, and as such threads will sink every now and again. Don't misinterpret that as a lack of caring- this club is my first priority on NG, even above my own swimming club. It's just that a lot of the time I have little to say, and I also have a lot to do at work, at least for the time being.

I can't be that inactive though- I'm still getting 100 B/P points per day (give or take a few). It would be closer to 120 if I was getting all the points from the spam submissions though :(.

As a few of you have said, I'm here pretty solidly for 16 hours a day, around work and a few ET sessions. My job leaves me with fairly regular gaps throughout the day, usually waiting for something to stir/heat/dry/run etc. and as such I'm never far away- if there is something interesting going on you can be sure I'll be showing up sooner rather than later :)

I've grown used to it but it's always dissapointing when I see my internet shot. I simply can't wait until I reach Elite Guard Supreme Commander. I want to see that in my profile so badly. I am not lurking at these hours for my own pleasure though. I procrastinated a homework assignment for far too long and this is what happens: doing your homework at midnight. Although I'm glad I didn't miss Hemlok's arrival. :)

I have never ever had to stay up late to do my homework. Well nothing over 11 anyways. I am sure that I will have to this year though. Year 10 is gonna be a loooooooong year!
