Since when did you become his slave? That guy has a lot of nerve. I mean you have a life offline and all this guy is worring about is when you are going to get him a gold whistle? If it were me I would tell him to back. I mean you are doing him a favor out of the kindness of your heart and he is giving you hell WTF? If he doesn't like it let him flag for himself and see how far he gets and I doubt it will be far since he had a garbage whistle when you started helping him. If I was really feeling spiteful and it were me I would dig him so deep in the whole that it would take him even longer then Wizardman did to dig himself out ( Wizardman got a garbage whistle before I got my gold whistle which was almost a year ago so it took him over a year to get out of the hole)

I suggest you block him so he can't pm you anymore or just tell send him 100 emails of spam? Either way that should work. You could also tell pm him giving him abusive links but not to NG's just to other sites and he will believe you until he clicks the links and then you block him.

I offered the user LAGATTO help with his whistle a few weeks ago. LAGATTO (A NG user) has been pestering me ever since I offered to help him. He was garbage and I have been flagging for him. He is now at Silver and keeps asking "When is gold!!!!!". Its really starting to irritate me! I have been a very busy man lately with NG and school but I dont think I can keep up with his demands. I want to help him get to gold at least but I am not sure if I can put up with this guy any longer. P.S: He is like 13! What should I do?

Hehe, it depends how much of an ass you want to be. The obvious solution is to simply block him and ignore any more requests- see if he can get that gold whistle on his own. Your alternatives would be to take it right back down to garbage and laugh at him. Or if you are feeling REALLY harsh you could just change his password and tell him you won't give the account back to him until he stops bugging you.

Does anyone know whos alt is named DrDickHead? He has PM'd me a few times abusing me about how he doesnt think my flashes deserve the score they have. Cereal was jealous of this a while back and I was just wondering if you can verify if its him. I dont know why he is jealous, he has an A+ batting average!

It's an interesting idea- of course it would be abused horribly, but if it could be made to work it would be quite nice. I can just see a group of users racking up points on a number of accounts and then moving all of them onto one though- it would result in users with 1000's of points.

You will most likely make your feat first. You are currently closer to yours. I am not sure how many points you have made today but I have made 70 and am only up to 5957 points. I actually started the day a fair bit under 5900 and thats why I am a bit behind. How many points have you made today?

Who said anything about no mouse? I have a mouse plugged into mine- no way I'd ever use the damn touch pad!!! Plus you get used to the flatter keys- I type much faster on here than I do with a normal keyboard.

But it would still serve the purpose B/P is even around for, voting on movies correctly. People might work really hard to have one joint account in the top, but they would have worked for it. Not to mention new ranks should be added to B/P, I haven't had a new rank in nearly 17 K points...

I'm still not sure about being able to donate points- one of the things I enjoy most is the fact that each and every point I collect I have earnt, but I completely agree about adding a few more ranks. Obviously there can't be any more VP bonuses as users can't be given too much influence, but a few ranks going up towards 100000 would be nice, just to give the more dedicated amongst us some continued incentive to B/P.

I'd also quite like to see the badges redesigned- some of them really are very boring. As this is a site that revolves around flash animations and users voting on them a few extra incentives to get users to do that would be great.

Well of course having a mouse connected is better. I have had bad expieriances with laptops in the past, I guess that is why I despise them now. We have to use laptops 99% of the time at school. They take 5 minutes to load, There are no mouse connections and the screens are miniture. I guess the keyboard is something that takes getting used to.

I am glad to hear that. For some people making a complex game can be done in a few hard working days. For others it is much more of a struggle. Some days I feel like creating others I open flash and just go "stuff it" and then close it again. For once I will actually HAVE to finish a game. As you can see with my previous submissions, My "Take down" game was never completed. The demo, Which is on this site had two levels. I made up to level 6 and have never completed it. I cant motivate myself, Plus I dont want to animate with stick figures anymore. As newgrounds looks down on that sort of animating.

It certainly looks more rewarding when you log on once a week than it does when you log on more than once a day. Seeing that 1000 points made since last log looks cooler than my 70 points made today. :-)

I agree that there should also be more b/p ranks. Maybe at the following points:

60000 points
100000 points
250000 points

I doubt it is very likely anyone would make 250000 points any time soon. But it would defintely be something to keep the high ranked users going!

VP couldnt be added to those ranks though. Its already as high as it should be.

It's a nice idea, but I don't think it would work. B/P Points are points you acquire for taking the time to go through the portal and vote accordinly to your respectful opinion on the submission. Giving away B/P points as an award of some kind would be generous enough and would make a user thankful, but I believe that B/P points should not be given as gifts because they were purposefully implemented to convey your good citizenship of cleaning up the portal and your determination to keep doing so. And as other members have stated, the concept would be awfully abused. But it surely is a good idea but I don't think it would be executed very well if it were to be implemented.

Hmm, 100 B/P Points away from 24,000 B/P Points. I'm going to have my Congratulations ready for you when you do reach them. As for me, I am quite close to acquiring the next badge, which is Elite Guard Second Lieutenant. I am vaguely close to acquring 6,000 Saves as well, and 3,000 Experience Points too. Quite a lot of accomplishments but not as great as yours, which is 24,000 B/P Points, triple the amount I have. :)

I undoubtfully agree with you. It seems ironic to me that it is virtually impossible to acquire Level 30 but although getting to Elite Guard Supreme Commander does take some time and work, it is much more easier to acquire. The irony I see in this is how B/Ping is such an self-awarding and honorable task and gathering experience points merely takes 5 minutes of your time. Of course, depositing your experience everyday can convey your determination on acquiring a new level, but there seems to be more levels than B/P badges, which I believe should be improved upon. Having more Badges would provide a greater excitement and challenge to us B/Pers and especially to the Elite Guard Supreme Commaders. I hope that when the new layout comes about, there will be new shiny badges waiting for EGSCs to acquire. :D

Sentio, since I have seen you have read many books and are quite familiar with them, I want to ask you if you have read the book "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I am currently reading this book in my english class and it is a magnificent book. It was originally written in Spanish but then was translated in English by Gregory Rebassa. It is a book that is based upon the theme of Magical Realism and is based upon the history of Columbia. If you haven't read it, I would definetly recommend it. Although I don't want to provide a summary of what it is about, because I would fear I would provide some spoilers, if you really are interested in it, try researching more about it. Sorry if I am wasting your time if you're reading this. I just thought you might be interested in the book. :)

If there isn't any problem with him, I would like to nominate Homerdough as a temporary Barracks Records Officer for time being while Major-punk has once the time to make an update. Homerdough did a great job on the last update he made, and I believe he would be a great temporary Officer. I'm pretty sure Major-punk wouldn't mind, because if you would read his post upon the update Homerdough made, he stated it saved him a lot of work. Tell me what you guys think upon this.

I am completely aware of what he said. I am just nominating him for a possible position he would want to take if there wouldn't be any problem with Major-punk.

Also, I forgot to post this before. I just updated my "Take down" game. It now has 6 levels and a lot of the glitches are gone. I thought I would update it so you can all see how it turned out even thought it isnt going to be finished.

Please play it, I didnt want to upload it for no reason. Its sooo much better than the initial one.

Hey that games really fun! A bit hard though for example i find the shooting/reloading gun a bit slow. I stopped at level 2 though. Does it get harder every level? I wouldn't ask these question's but I'm way to lazy to continue on with the game.

Thanks, Yeah I think the method I used in my Forensicz game for shooting was better. You stopped at level 2! Oh Cmon the rest of the game is good too! The last level is pretty cool, there are more than one enemies and you can die!

Also, In the level where the car drives past, turn up your sound and shoot one of the petrol tanks in the background. There are heaps of other interactive bits in the game as well!

Hmm, 100 B/P Points away from 24,000 B/P Points. I'm going to have my Congratulations ready for you when you do reach them. As for me, I am quite close to acquiring the next badge, which is Elite Guard Second Lieutenant. I am vaguely close to acquring 6,000 Saves as well, and 3,000 Experience Points too. Quite a lot of accomplishments but not as great as yours, which is 24,000 B/P Points, triple the amount I have. :)

Sentio, since I have seen you have read many books and are quite familiar with them, I want to ask you if you have read the book "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I am currently reading this book in my english class and it is a magnificent book. It was originally written in Spanish but then was translated in English by Gregory Rebassa. It is a book that is based upon the theme of Magical Realism and is based upon the history of Columbia. If you haven't read it, I would definetly recommend it. Although I don't want to provide a summary of what it is about, because I would fear I would provide some spoilers, if you really are interested in it, try researching more about it. Sorry if I am wasting your time if you're reading this. I just thought you might be interested in the book. :)

I'm reading a lot of scientific literature at the moment, but I will take note of your suggestion. History, and in particular that of South America is something I find very interesting. My ex-girlfriend visited Peru last year and I spent some time reading about the country and its past. Reading suggestions are always appreciated- if I don't read for an hour before I go to bed I can't sleep, so I plough through books at a fast pace.

In return I'll give you a few suggestions. 'State of Fear' by Michael Crichton is a book I have mentioned in a lot of posts recently, mainly because I enjoy debating about Global Warming. The book is a work of fiction, but provides real arguments and references against global warming, and is a damn good read to boot. A real eye opener, and I recommend it to anyone.
Another great scientific read is 'Genome' by Matt Ridley. It may be a bit heavy for some, but it tries to cater for a non scientific reader. It tells of many of the little quirks in the genetic code, and again gives plenty of eye openers about how the world really works.

I also have something else to say. I have noticed that Major-punk has been quite busy these past few days and hasn't been able to do a Barracks Roster Update recently. If there isn't any problem with him, I would like to nominate Homerdough as a temporary Barracks Records Officer for time being while Major-punk has once the time to make an update. Homerdough did a great job on the last update he made, and I believe he would be a great temporary Officer. I'm pretty sure Major-punk wouldn't mind, because if you would read his post upon the update Homerdough made, he stated it saved him a lot of work. Tell me what you guys think upon this.

I'd agree with the nomination, if Homerdough is willing, and of course if Major-Punk isn't creating an update as we speak :). Maybe they could collaborate on it in future- do half and half for example, and reduce the work load.

That sounds great, I will make sure to head over to the NGPD then. I am sure there ought to be some good times had there. It will be nice to have a place to hang my hat while I work towards my ultimate goal. Hanging out with the "cool" people will surely be much more satisfying though. That will just be one more reason to push through the ranks and B/P with any chance possible. I will return upon completion of my 1,500 points. Thank you so much for all of the help.
