Yea so I woke up at 4:00 AM and me and my mom went to a Toys 'R us. They wewre getting 50 Wii's and we were about 60'th in line so wii (bad pun) decided to leave. We pretty much drove around and looked for a smaller line. We finaly went to this diffrent Toy 'R us were we waited. They were getting 48 Wii's And we were about 10 people behind the 48'th person. We realized that we should just wait there. So we waited 3 hours and then tickets were handed out. We didn't get one. My mom was thinking of buying a ticket from someone but she didn't have any cash on her. So then we left.

Actually, it appears you don't. The rule is that only officers contact mods, and noone else. As noble as your intentions were, you broke the rules. Phantom contacted the moderator way before he mentioned it, as I could tell by the way he was talking. There was no need for you to contact the mod. The rule is in place for a reason. That reason is so many mods aren't contacted. When you have 10 people contacting mods about an issue, they will get pissed off. That is why contacting mods is restricted to officers.

Phantom may get pissed at times (as do I, though granted less often), but he still does his job. That is why he's second-in-command. He didn't get appointed second-in-command for no reason...he is here because he does the job and does it well. You trying to supercede him is not only implying that he cannot do his job, but also insulting my judgement. You frankly pissed me off enough last night, and I didn't need to see this once I woke up.

I don't meant to be blunt, but I've had conversations like this since the Barracks started. I would apprecaite cooperation from everyone to ignore spammers and allow the officers to quietly do their job. Phantom did not tell you he contacted a mod at first because that is what we want: no acknowledgement of the spammer at all. Even talking about spammer as opposed to "to" them simply fuels the fire. Your Barracks officers have it under control, so please trust we will do our job. Phantom may get hot-headed, but that does not prevent him for being effective as second-in-command. Thanks.

Tough break. On release day, I got up nice and early to get to the Target near me because we knew they were getting 110 units. However, we only managed to get there about 30 minutes early, and there was about 130 people on line. We had two choices: go to New York, where there were at least 10,000 Wiis in Times Square alone (between the NIntendo World store and Toys 'R' Us), or head to a Toys 'R' Us in the area. Wow, a lot of spammer talk circulating through here. I'm glad it's being taken care of. Anyway, the Portal has been fairly active since I logged on. Over 30 submissions were under judgement which is what I like to see. I won't be getting much more points today since I'm leaving in about an hour.

About spammers, the Barracks are always going to have to deal with spammers like the one today. They most likely just want the attention, or they could be jealous they don't reach the rquirements of a place like this. My advice is to just pretend they don't exist and move on with the conversations you were all having earlier. Unless it's your job to tell them off, there is no need. Just leave them alone. The more attention they are getting, the more spammy posts will be brought into the Barracks.

It is GETTING sick. Whenever I do something, Eagle posts a SUPER long post s about how I should not have done what I did and critizes me for the whole posts. It will be posted when Major-Punk has time to post it. It isn't a regular thing, but rather something Major-Punk does once whenever he has the chance. I'm sure there will be another update soon.
