If the flash has been resubmitted and it doesn't look like there was any attempt to change (in this case not at all) you can flag it.

I would ask the posters here not to post about individual Barney Bunch being submitted. Indeed, we can see that it is a Barney Bunch flash and can vote accordingly. Posts like that are against the rules and should be avoided.

Also, I don't want to start another trend of quick and fast pointless posts going back and forth. I'd ask to stop the quick one-liner conversations. Thank you.

I recommend whistling abusive reviews, as they are much easier to find. Click the link in my signature for abusive reviews, and go to the last couple pages. You'll see the results the next time Wade clears the reviews ^_^

I didn't post it because it was a Barney bunch flash I posted it because it was a resubmitted and stolen flash which breaks the NG rules which I think is more important then the EGB rules.

i just flagg reviews mostly. i went here for the bad review links. i flag entries sometimes, but mostly reviews, mainly because they're easy to spot.

Day's end report:
Despite me being on the portal much less than average today, I managed to nail 90 points. The early-day lull in activity sped up greatly an hour or so ago, which helped. Not a horrible day, but not enough to make me feel satisfied. I will endeavor to wake up earlier tomorrow.
I also will be up a few more hours, as BB fileswaps have happened the past several nights. If we're lucky, they'll use one of the flashes on our list...if they don't, at least we'll have one more flash to add to it...

Today was slow for me as well, Sergeant First Class. It was rather hard for me to hit my quota, which I barely did at that. I'm at 98 points with only a few on the Portal. I guess today was an off-day for everyone. I was tempted to put the Portal at DEFCON 5 during the day! Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

The best way to find the abusive reviews is to look at the Turd of the Week entry, as that always has loads of abusive reviews. Either that of submissions from Clocks, Locks or illwillpress.

I noticed the sign-in page update, but not the BBS search page. They are both good and it makes the site look better, more uniform.

Speaking of which, there has been quite a few more incidents of spam in both the Elite Guard Barracks and the Police Headquarters. This is probably the down-side of publicising the two units to draw members.

It also shows the validity of Praporschik EagleRock's wish not to divulge Operations details. Just goes to show that classified-level information should be sent as a Private Message to the responsible officer, whether in the Elite Guard of NGPD forums.

On my end, feel free to PM me in either forum, and I'll get back to you ASAP. This applies to information not falling under the jobs of any of the Barracks Officer positions (intelligence, mafia relations, etc).

Well, I guess it would happen naturally. Our club is going up in numbers and there are more posts per day than ever. Publicity is a natural product of our growth, Police Captain.

Keep in mind though that there is a specific location in the Barracks Forums that I have created for us to communicate in confidence. I've personally given clearance to everyone in that room, and noone will be able to sneak information out of these as long as we keep the veil of silence.

Also, please be wary that there is a Private Messaging system on the forums. If you have not used it yet, please click the "PM" link on the top right of the page to see it.

You did, but the PM's on the Elite Guard Barracks are not easily seen due to the skin we are using. While other skins tell you if you have a PM, this one doesn't. Therefore, it's very easy to miss it. This was a concern of mine and Private the_fallen_one1's when we were first designing the forums, so I just wanted to make sure everyone knew where it was.

You are right on that count. It's a nice skin, but you have to look to find the "PM" button in the top right corner (took me all of 5 minutes to see it).

I am enjoying a break right now since my next class will be at 2:00. I am here to share a piece of good news with you all: I noticed that I am a top 150 user when I signed up moments ago. But of course, I will not stop b/ping and defending the portal. There is no way that I will retire until I have at least 100000 total points. On the other hand, I have not got Wade's reply yet although I emailed him the day before yesterday. So Eagle, should I keep on waiting or just pre-whistle those fileswaps anyway? Before I emailed Wade, I already told you guys that it would take him a long time to reply the email. I am personally fine with waiting although I don't want to see a sigle BB fileswap sneaking in. In case Wade does not reply to my email very soon, we have to come up with something else. Eagle, should we continue waiting or pre-whistle the fileswaps anyway? In addition, our brand organization --- NG police headquaters are developing fast. However, most of the posts there are one or two lines shorties which has somehow degraded the general post qualities there. I will ask them to try to post quality posts as soon as I get time, but I will have to leave right now because of my classes. End of the report, sir!

As for pre-whistling, I would only do it on flashes we've seen before (such as the ones on the list being compiled) until Wade responds. Never on just suspicion.
But 100,000 points isn't that insane...remember that Newgrounds is a growing site, and likely as years go on, submissions will increase, and there will be more potential points. It would take years, though...but so what? lol I bet I'll still be on Newgrounds ten years from now. So Captain Dream_of_Duke's goal isn't insane insane...just a little insane, lol. Remember that not even the Blam Queen has that many yet, lol (I know she's in second now, but she's still the Blam Queen to me).
Well there was a decent number of UJ flashes when I came on about an hour ago, but it seems to have slowed to a crawl now! I'll just browse the BBS until things heat up. Good hunting, everyone! :salute:

I would imagine Wade taking his time to reply, so that is expected. I would still wish to compile intel on fileswaps until his reply. I am okay with whistling certain fileswaps. Please follow these guidelines:

- Make sure the flash file used has been used before and is in the OFFICIAL list on the Barracks Forums.
- Cite that it is a multiple sumbission previously submitted by the BB
- DO NOT whistle on speculation; if there is not hard proof, do NOT whistle
- If you are skeptical about a flash but do not have hard proof, instead track the flash and write down the name and description of it. If it passes judgement and is a fileswap, post it in the War Room thread made for that purpose.

Indeed, we are not breaking any rules that way. I still have problems whistling a flash because we "think" it is the Barney Bunch. As of now, though, I approve of whistling flash, but make sure the guidelines above are followed.

I assume you meant "branch" organization, sir. They are not a branch of the Barracks; they are their own entity with their own members and their own leadership. While they have the same goals and are our allies, please repsect their independence of the Barracks.

I do not feel that is necessary, Captain. Police Lieutenant Rslegend already addressed this issue and has been reminding the officers there that the short, spamlike posts are not conductive to good NGPD HQ business. He did so after I mentioned the problem here in the Barracks. Therefore, the change is spilling over. I have full trust in Captain K-Pingu and Lieutenant Rslegend to handle the situation.

However, if the situation does not improve despite those two officers' efforts, maybe a saying or two from you and me might help the members to listen to our suggestions. I say we wait a bit and see what happens, though, sir.

Exactly. That was the reason that I had apprehension at first, as it seemed like all-speculation whistling. However, if we follow those guidelines above, we should be in good shape.

Portal is rather slow right now... Too bad that I hardly have any time to spend there... Only 8 hours a day... Ever since my system has been set up I've hardly seen a BB flash. Do you think we are being watched? Well I think I'll stop that system because so far it brought no use... I'll be going to the war room now...

i don't think anyone in NG history has ever achieved such a high number, i think the highest is somthing about 40-55,000 b/p points. i'll take like 10 years before you reach that amount.
