Don't worry about it.
Eaglerock, sir, I know I am not an official member of the eg, but as long as I keep my posts good, theres no problem with me posting here, is there sir? *salutes*
My policy is, has been, and always will be that anyone with vested interest in the Portal may post here. I am not planning on changing such policy anytime soon, so never feel unwelcome here. As long as you give each post a quick think as to whether it is necessary or if it will contribute to the topic, all will be well. I appreciate your cooperation in the matter.

Heh.
About me having an official position...I think I'm still really too new here to have that much responsibility.
I want to remind you, Staff Sergeant, that respect and ability to serve is not a matter of how long you've been here or how high your rank is. Indeed, when I started the Barracks, I was a Sergeant. You are a respected member of the community here. Indeed, I would have already appointed you a position if one was clear that you would best serve in.
However, your response to Captain Dream_of_Duke's position shows you have the wisdom to realize something I forgot recently. I was petitioning people to be part of positions that they were not even showing credibility for! That is what got me in big trouble earlier and screwed everything up. Now, my new policy is that for anyone to get petitioned for a position, they have to already be serving in such a position. For instance, take Praporshchik Major_punk; he was making Barracks records before he was even the officer! Officer positions are not for appointing just for the sake of appointing, they are for recognizing soldiers' contributions to the Barracks!
Indeed, I'm sure the policy I'm holding now will make the whole Barracks Officer situation even easier to deal with. I am not one to slip-up and not learn from my mistakes, so this is my way of rectifying a once screwed-up situation.
