Thanks to everyone that congratulated me, but I'm having a problem on the NG.
I want an estimate of how long it will take me to get 10,000, but I didn't really start b/ping until early summer this year, so it says me average b/p per day is like, 11-12, even though I know it's much higher than that.
Is there some way to fix this? :S

Gold whistle is impressive, Feedback! Certainly more impressive than me ranking up tomorrow to Master Sergeant! I'm almost through the silver badges. Suddenly, Praporshchik doesn't look all that far off anymore...just one more after tomorrow's rank-up.
Anyhoo, another question about flash submissions. Is there any way to recognize a malicious flash before opening it? Or at least to stop it before it becomes necessary to shut down the whole computer and reboot? I've been hit twice so far on NG, most recently yesterday...saw the warning in the Barracks a little bit too late for it to have helped me avoid it. It takes forever for my computer to reboot and I was more miffed about that than the disturbing images generated by the malicious flash, disturbing as they were. Thanks in advance for any commentary on this subject.

Not really. Usually people who are smart enough to know how to make flashes capable of fucking with your computer are also smart enough to not make an obviously-malicious alias, title, author comments, etc.. Beyond quickly shutting the window, and ctrl+alt+delete, there's not much you can do.

If a flash brings up a window, I highly advise clicking it out before it can load. Don't give it a chance to fuck you up. Just report the flash here, and we'll try to investigate as safely as possible.

I don't know what your current b/p rate is right now, but for an example I'll say 50/day. Your 450 points away from 10,000 so I would divide 450 by 50 and that leaves you with 9 days.

why does everyone care so much about the colour of their whistle. im happy with my silver whistle even if it is easy to get. as long as i keep flagging things i know that im doing all i can. you should be happy with that, no some shiney whistle (although it is soooo very pretty)

I like the fact about the 50 flashes Under Judgement. It's just that this really isn't a Clock Day for me. One Clock Day is good enough. I really don't see the point of an Anti-Clock Day day.
