Please don't just post flash like this, Private! We already went over this a few pages back. Several clubs were shut down for doing just this. It becomes a place where we just blam whatever people post here, which is a serious problem. We are part of the Elite Guard...a flash like this can easily be spotted and dealt with accordingly. Unless it is a file that you think will be fileswapped due to certain signs, don't just post it!

Anyway, here is my final report for my work today on the portal:

Blam & Protect Points Accumulated (Today) - 50+ (some are still under judgement)

Time Accumulated Defending the Portal (Yesterday) - 30 Minutes

I was unable to attain the rank of PFC, however being less than 100 points away from that rank, I should attain it by no later than December 23rd.

DEFCON Update:

Due to increased Portal entrants and several enemies appeared recently (stolen flash and Barney Bunch), the DEFCON Level has increased from DEFCON 4 to DEFCON 3. Be alert until past midnight for these enemies on the site.

The Portal has sufficiently calmed down to warrant a drop in the DEFCON. The DEFCON will be reduced from DEFCON 3 to DEFCON 4. However, as always, please be wary of potential late-night attacks. I do not expect a change in the DEFCON to be necessary until morning, so observe DEFCON 4 until 1100 hours, when I return in the morning.

I actually was able to "move up" my schedule four times since I came back to Newgrounds. My goal is 100/day, but if I get far enough ahead, I'll shift the whole schedule up and make it one day less until I get to EGSC. I am very charged with my duty on the Portal, and hope I can prove to my superious that I am worthy of such a title in the future!

Excellent work on the Portal, PFC! I'm sure your skills will warrant your promotion to Corporal in the near future!

And speaking of...I now discard my black glove and put on the boxing glove, because I am level 10! All right! It's weird being higher level than you, EagleBellRock, but you of course are still my superior officer! I think rank is more important than level, anyway. You can deposit your experience in a few minutes...your rank shows how dedicated you really are to Newgrounds!

Please, Corporal, Call me EagleRock. EagleBellRock is just my poor attempt at a humorous Christmas username. As far as level, it is of course important (as anyone with less than level 9 is rather hard to respect, unless they demonstrate proper courtesy here). It is the rank that is king, here. However, I just made 1000 XP (1005 to be exact), so I will proceed to plod along diligently until my level increases. With each level I get I will, of course, do my best to protect the Portal with every bit of vote I can get!

Today went well and my B/P is at normal... but I look forward to hours in front of the portal once the 25th comes around...It's hard to juggle sleep, school and B/P. once the school part is gone the juggle will become easy... I could never juggle any more than 2 things at a time... Second lieutenant is a problem because actually have to memorize how to spell it but I think I got it by now...

and that just may be the very case sir. many users think that once they get to the officer ranks, then they are the coolest. but one thing bothers me about the ranks, silver outranks gold. and ther is no gold eagle for colonel. maybe tom just wanted to be different than the active military or something. oh well. that's just me.

Well my friend PFC Grizzley... I like the Colonel rank because despite the lack of eagles it has a justice 3 fist thing going on. But best of all is the "leafs" ranks because once more people look at the background and that's all... Praporshchik as the first golden rank is pretty basic and resembles Staff sergeant...

I think, PFC, in regards to silver vs. gold, Tom and the bunch just wished to different. However, if that upsets you, I'm surprised the Sergeant ranks don't upset you more! After all, Staff Sergeant takes the insignia of First Sergeants, SFC of Sergeant Major, Master Sergeant of Command Sergeant Major, and Sergeant Major of Sergeant Major of the Army. I believe that is due to the fact you couldn't fit those insiginia with the three chevrons of the Sergeant rank, never mind the loops below.

Actually, sir, I believe Praporshchik resembles the rank of Warrant Officer. If you look at the insigia, it is certainly that of US Army warrant officers. "Praporshchik" itself is Russian, and usually stands for the top-level warrant officer. There are plenty of sources on this on the Internet.

Enlisted Rank Insignia (from Private to Sergeant Major)

Officer Rank Insignia (from Warrant Officer (or Praporshchik here) to General)

Yep, my big goal is the EGSC at the moment, but for now, I want to get the next rank. The Major General. Then Lieutenant and there's the General, which I'll have to get 4500 points more after getting 25500. I wonder how long I'll take to rank up and if I get fed up with the General rank.

Sir, is it 25,000 to get General? I know that is what it says in the FAQ, but I've seen many other locations state that General take 27,000 to get.

Here is the descrepancy I've seen:

If you think about it, it seems logical that the latter would be more accurate, as the rankup is more evenly-stepped. However, any input from someone that have achieved these ranks would be appreciated.

Glorious, Corporal! I love it! Unforutunately, we have a new problem to deal with: "Daily Drew." I'm sure anyone that has seen this might be cringing at this, as we know we can expect at least one of these every damn day! I don't know about that, Corporal. Weekdays are usually slow for the Portal, and even I can't get 150 B/P on a day like today. I think the most I've gotten on a Monday is around 120-130 B/P. It will be close, like you said, and I wish you luck. I've already gotten around 45 B/P myself, and feel VERY close to a promotion!

Scary, Corporal! At least we of the Elite Guard won't be so easily fooled! That's why we're here! Perhaps we should share this thought with the NGPD and make sure they are aware of the situation as well!
