I know it can be difficult to do both. I was the same way for a bit, I didn't get into my x-box live for months and then got going again. If you work out a system it is not too bad though. I have a laptop with wireless, so I just put it next to where I am sitting and do both. Taking a break inbetween rounds or every half hour like suggested it great though, you get a lot done that way. I play a lot of halo 2, so why I am waiting for the next match to load I usually kick over to the portal. Good luck with it, have fun.

Congratulations! That is certainly a feat to accomplish. Keep up the pace and you should be ranking up again pretty quick. It'll be smooth sailing untill Sergeant Major, then 1500 to rank up. Even SlashFirestorm is in a current quest for a life. ;-) What you do outside of these Barracks are your own concern. If you feel you can't do it, you are obviously pushing yourself too hard. Never forget that you are an Elite Guard...not everyone has the rank you do. Do what you can and it will be enough. You have already proven yourself.

I get the jist of what you're saying... The only thing is that we have means that prove this unnecessary. First off, the policy that only Elite Guards can hold membership is firm. However, there is a Newgrounds Police Headquarters for a reason. Second off, we consider Police Captains our closest recruits, and will sometimes refer them as Recruit so-and-so instead of Police Captain. As far as citizens et al, it is implied that with enough charge, they are all future Elite Guards. Therefore, there is no restriction to the posts here, as long as you show due respect to those that worked hard to earn their memberships.

Hopefully we'll hear from you and your progresses, Citizen!

Even though I'm not in the EGB, I have to bring up something about this submission that I thought was a little odd. There was a second or third one submitted to the portal and when I hit play to get it started, I got a message from my anti-virus saying that another site was trying to connect to my computer. I don't know if that falls under the 'malicious' category but it bothered me. Just figure I'd get an opinion on this in here. Good day sirs.

Here's the problem with sweeping the portal after every game though. I am directly connecteded to live, meaning I can't use the internet and play live at the same time. On top of that, I am broke so I can't buy a modem because I am on medical leave at work (I broke my arm and had surgery). This makes E-Moose frustrated! >:(

Basically, I would say that the idea of having each country is a decent idea, but it would not work. Most of us in the barracks fly the flag of NG. There is no discrimination due to country of birth, race, age or gender. I think that works much better.

Also, I couldn't really believe that you have a substantial amount of military experience, being only 16. I used to be in the scouts and that has probably given me as much experience as you. No offense.

No it wouldn't have been. The gayest showdown was even enough and it got front page and turd of the week. you would need at least 5-6 diamond mines of abusive reviews for that! ( Only a guess since i flagged around that many amount of reviews)
