Consider this your reminder to keep to the group's purpose. If you bring something up here as a flag, substantiate it with the rule broken. If you're unsure, asking is fine.
Guests to this club are also reminded that this is indeed a club with a membership roster. Users not on the membership roster can be asked to leave if they aren't behaving. They're also free to not participate as they choose.
Anyone not yet on the Barracks Roster who is interested in joining is reminded that they can formally apply for membership if you meet the following guidelines:
Minimum Requirements for Membership
1. A Blam/Protect rank of "Private" or above (2,500 B/P minimum).
2. Advanced Whistle status (Bronze or better).
3. Sufficient posting quality (minimal one-liners, intelligent posts that contribute to threads, etc).
4. Sufficient review quality (helpful and civil, with constructive criticism, regardless of the flash or author).
5. No outstanding bans or recent disreputable behavior.
6. No zero-effort flashes (static images, single frames, tiny loops, etc) after 1 January 2009.
Nifty perks of membership include being on the roster where your stats get tracked, a cool whistle (you provide the whistle, results may vary), as well as some ̶l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶z̶i̶n̶g̶ opportunities to meet the EGB mascot.
Those who are interested in membership who do not yet meet the criteria can apply to the Reserve Officer Training Corps:
Minimum Requirements for Entry into the ROTC program
1. A Blam/Protect rank of "Portal Security" or above (400 B/P minimum).
2. Normal Whistle status (Bronze would be nice).
3. Sufficient posting quality (minimal one-liners, intelligent posts that contribute to threads, etc).
4. Sufficient review quality (helpful and civil, with constructive criticism, regardless of the flash or author).
5. No outstanding bans or recent disreputable behavior.
6. No zero-effort flashes (static images, single frames, tiny loops, etc).
