Isn't really a commonly violated guideline, I mean, V-Tech Rampage is still on the site but when The Slaying of Sandy Hook Elementary came out, that one got taken down. Not to mention the phrasing is clear that the submission may have a chance to stay.

If it's stolen from Randy, then yeah it's stolen, report it. But this looks like/says it's a fan recreation/continuation that the creator is animating themselves, so what exactly is the problem here? Does it endorse IRL murder?

In my personal opinion as a user of the website, I think this should stay.

It would be good to have a culture that is in favor of creators and artistic expression. Having the opportunity to engage with art and being connected to the Internet is beautiful, we have something so unique and powerful we should not be taken for granted having access to all this art and having the ability to create art is a luxury that we should not be taken for granted.

The problem is I'm lonely and I want to have something to talk about. And I would like to pretend that you are my friends. And I thought the movies were ridiculous and I wanted to share that because I want to be a part of this.

if content was made by someone else other than the author in any capacity then it falls into the crosshairs of what we can report openly, I didn't see the submission before it was removed but I trust the mods that removed the piece that it was removed for either a clear violation or it was removed because it should not have stayed on Newgrounds

Looks like gameplay footage seeing the UIs and menus and no animation. Might be easily blammed, but whatever. Gameplay footages and stolen videos seem more likely to be taken down quickly though. From what I've seen, live-action TikTok-style videos are more likely to be blammed quickly than taken down by mods. As you know, whistles count if the mods take it down, not if the submission is blammed.

It is animated (ie. in subtle areas), but it's a short background loop stretched over an entire album of music. Five others like this already exist on the Movie Portal.

As per the Movie Guidelines:

"Do not submit something that is merely a sound visualizer set to music, or a recording of your music project timeline. If you want to promote your song in the movie portal, it should be set to original animation like a proper music video; otherwise stick to the Audio Portal."

In other words, something like this, or this would not be allowed on Newgrounds.

This begs the question. Does this qualify as a visualizer (albeit one the creator made themselves), or a proper music video? Because if it's 25 minutes of audio stretched over a 5 second loop, I don't think it counts.

Did you actually listen to the words though the whole clip, or did you just get disappointed that there were no tits and dicks? Things can be rated A for other reasons than nudity or sex.

There is plenty of animation. There are twinkling stars, shooting stars, and the cat. You people really need to expand your idea of what constitutes "animation." Did you enjoy the submission? Was it good? Was effort put into it, or is it spam? Vote accordingly, not just on how much movement there is, or how much you choose to see.

And, it's not just that Tyhond votes 5 on it. He votes 5 on everything. But, he can't pass it on his own 5 vote. Others are voting that they enjoy the cat and music. That user has submitted several music & cat videos and they've all passed because people enjoy them. I'm one of them. @Exedor, @Tyhond votes 5 on everything. Can you classify him as a spammer or something? He does vote only 5.

Similar to what you said earlier, I used to try to be quick to remove anything and everything. But, I realized how many blam points I was robbing from people (and myself) by doing that, so I stopped. Only things like real porn, stolen stuff, or malicious stuff has to be removed urgently. The rest can be left to blam, and then removed if it somehow passes. Blammed things don't need to be moderated.

Sorry, if I am here to disappoint. I kind of black and white when I come to this. I usually just skim through movie and sometimes sit through a few interesting one that I tend to enjoy. Usually I give 1 to one that didn't have much effort or don't really count as animation, something like that. If someone made it into animation and have some effort put into it, then I'll give it a 5 instead. Of course some deserve to be in between but I be kind enough to give a 5. It's subjective at the end of the day whether something passed.

For the music I voted yesterday, it does have animation, only for like a few second of animation though with most of it being music. But I assume a few seconds of animation still counts right?
