So this submission here doesn't have any animated elements or production value whatsoever. Just live footage of empty rooms that's been fed through a filter and has some stock VHS elements slapped on top of it. Wanting to get a second opinion of it before I pull any triggers, but to me it looks more like a video montage than any kind of submission that has any elements done to it by hand...

Fuck sakes; I was hoping I could have posted this as I wanted to be witty with my report. Was gonna be like "No, I don't think I will" with that submissions title (which is "dont pay attention to this" for future reference)... ah well. >_<

AI animation and art always freak me the fuck out. I hope this shit crashes and burns.

I flagged this as "stolen" with the following note: "not stolen per se but uses AI art which is not allowed"

These have been re-uploaded because they've been blammed once already, according to the description. While I haven't seen the original "animations" of the above which the user had posted beforehand, these submissions in particular are so poor in their quality, I really doubt that he's made any improvements to them. So they ultimately fall against the Movie Guidelines of resubmitting material without making any improvements to them.

Do what you shall with this information in mind. But I don't think anyone would miss them if they miraculously disappeared once again. Just saying!

Same user submitted a photograph of themselves in the art portal that's similar in nature. Which ultimately falls against the Art Guidelines of uploading photography that doesn't involve capturing any sort of physical art creation.

User signed up back in August of this year, but only have two experience points as well... so just seeing this being posted out of the blue now is questionable. I don't get it, nor understand the thought process behind all of this, but whatevs.

I'm sure this IS gameplay footage. You might think the wording here suggests otherwise, but Games Repainted has shown me you CAN edit text in Deltarune and this is what I believe to be the case: all the dude had to do was mod the game to include said edited text, record it, and that's it.

Barracks Roster as of December 1st, 2023:

December is upon us, and with that, the celebrations that hopefully bring out the best in all of us. With all the insanity in the news, both domestic and foreign, we sometimes may lose track of what is important. We let the hype and opinions of the news, influencers, corporations and businessmen shape our views and distort what we see.

There's no arguing that there's a lot of wrong in the world today - and it's even harder to know what's right. I don't have any real answers, and I'm not going to get on my soapbox about what should and shouldn't be going on. But I will share this with you: the only person I can change - is me. There is a mural on my wall, and it reads like this:

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

The strength to change what I can,

And the wisdom to know the difference".

I can't change the news or public opinion or politics or social media. But I can change how I act. I can answer distrust with kindness, fear with compassion, and end a disagreement with silence. I can listen more and speak less, and when I do, focus on the person and not the events around us.

I can also show gratitude for all things, great or small. I am so grateful and honored to be part of this fine community, and stand tall with all the members of the Barracks as we do what we can to keep Newgrounds safe for all. The mere fact that you all do this voluntarily, day in and day out, is testament that you really are good people IRL. It's easy to walk away from a problem, passing it off to someone else. But all of you here do your part, knowing that it needs to be done, even though most users may not appreciate it. But I do, and I wanted to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything, for all you do, and for doing it so well.

As for me, I am working on the gift of reconciliation this year. I'm reaching out to friends and family that I haven't spoken to in a long while and see if I can mend some fences. I don't expect it all to go 100%, but even if I can repair one broken friendship or get back on terms with a relative, it was worth it. I'm no spring chicken, and at my age I've faced the passing of friends and family that departed while we were at odds. It's a bit sad that we'll never know if we could have been back on better terms. But there are still many folks I can call, and regardless of the outcome, they will know I am here, ready to try again. None of them did anything directly to hurt me or my family - it's all been about politics, religion, opinion and the other nonsense that polarizes us. But no more. I'm not going to let that get in the way of friends and family ever again.

Thank you for listening, and for being part of my life. You have all made me a better person in your own way. And with that, I leave you with a quote from The Wyld Stallions: "Be excellent to each other - and party on, dudes!"

I always await these announcements with great anticipation, and this one in particular is a breath of fresh air. So often are we so wrapped up in the troubling affairs of the world, taking to the keyboard, at the throats of our communities, friends, family, spouses, the dog -- we forget that in many cases the biggest impact we can have upon the world is with kindness and understanding. Brick by brick, we can in fact build a better world, and each brick starts with grains of dust.

I may not post here very often as my focus of moderation is primarily audio, and that keeps me quite busy, but I'm happy to be around in the rare case I may be called upon. The EGB has always been an integral part in keeping the portal clean and safe for all. I do miss the good ole lounge days sometimes, our founder @EagleRock, the frequent visits of @Fro, @HeavenDuff, and others. I think at one point we even had a novel going on aha.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm happy to be a small part of the history that made this place great, and I'm glad there are others here to keep it that way!

I'm also very happy to hear this. Myself, I've also lost a lot of friends and some family over the same, and probably opposite side of the fence. Rarely was it ever worth it. I have a few friends I'd like to reach out to this year and hopefully start fresh. May be reconciling a bit more with my mom, now that politics isn't a big factor in our relationship. We will just see if there are more problems than that under the surface, and if there are, well, an arms' length relationship with a few no-no squares is better than none at all. Keep your emotional and psychological sanity, but don't lose your compassion. That sort of thing.
