I don't exactly see the point of risking it being shot down by republishing the new one instead of applying the changes directly, but I'll admit I'm not quite familiar with project updates. Users concerned about low scores after judgment ends should remember the scores can easily be inflated (or deflated) even by a single, low voting power user.

The Movie Portal is reserved mostly for animations. The guidelines say that:

"Do not submit pictures in a slideshow format."

Although the rules didn't say anything about a still image, I think it can be inferred that if pictures in a slideshow format isn't allowed, then a single still picture wouldn't be allowed either.

This is where this discussion should have ended! So that's where I ended the discussion!
