As for flagging a submission in the Games/Movies portal, or in general, I don't think any mod would want to punish you for a bad report if your intent was good. Can always clarity with them as well, a whole bunch are already here: @byteslinger @gamejunkie @Big-Boss @Asandir.

I agree with the item that was deleted.


If something shows what appears to be a child that is either in a sexually explicit pose (groping itself, partially naked or more), or is being penetrated, then I would remove it.


The label “lolicon” shouldn’t factor into it, nor if the character or description is stated as 18+. These aren’t get-out-of-jail-free cards, and if the image was shown to somebody naieve with no context (like a judge!) they would still consider it kiddy porn. Report it based on your opinion that the image alone contains a child and is sexually explicit.

If you come across such a beast, kill it with fire. The Art Portal mods are really good at staying on top of the Art Portal flags. The EGB and the Audio Portal Clean Up threads help speed things up with reports and info, but the art side of things is a bit quicker and easier to police. I'm verifying this at the moment, but as I understand it, the rules on SFM submissions to the Art Portal has been indefinitely suspended, but if that changes, I will let you all know.

And, that's the key. Tags and author comments do not matter. The basic rule is this: If it looks like a child and is sexual in nature, flag dat shiz. It doesn't matter if they claim the character is 18+, if it looks like a child. And, it doesn't matter if the character is 10 on the show if they do not look underage in the submission.

Correct. It doesn't really matter what flag you use. Mods get the flag and act accordingly. If there''s no report, or the report is way off base, then the user is more likely to be punished.

So should i flag artwork with such situations? Looks under age, sexual in nature, and even if the artist claims they're 18+ though they're underage in the real show. I see some art as such floating around in the portal.

The 'real show' is irrelevant regardless. All that matters is how the character looks in the image. Aged-up art based on a young character would get a pass.

So, feel free to flag them in the Art Portal. Animations using SFM are allowed, but vote appropriately, obviously. As for GAME SPRITES, they are allowed in animations, but games can be reported if sprites and/or music from game companies are used (Nintendo/Mario/SMB being the most common).
