Some companies are pretty chill about fanart since it “grows the brand” (less so for porn, but you know). Disney’s legal department is hellbent on giving notices to small artists. Etsy (handmade goods) has some pretty routine legal action removals of Disney themed goods (including things made with licensed patterned cloth). Nintendo is the same, which resulted in the “no mario sprites” rule.

In this case, an alien from a Disney kids movie is having cordial relations with other (adult) characters. I guess thats my line in the sand. Really, it might not break the rules but sometimes I like to pretend I have a moral compass.
