Sort of, there's definitely a lot of content made for youtube and uploaded here as an afterthought, but I find that stuff doesn't gain much traction on this end. The high rated NG content is still proper, solid animation.

I have seen over the past few days that the user Plautus123 has left the voice afting area of his own accord and decided to make a post about it on the voice acting forums. Usually nothing wrong with this but he is talking very not kindly about some of the animators and game developers hes working with because of things they cannot help (i.e. age, professionalism, and overall experience) we are an area where people can grow positively and with the support of others, and he doesn't seem to respect that idea! Along with the fact that he has not done any voice reels or holds and real experience himself so i dont know what to do about it, i just wanted to mention it here to see if he would need to be talked to by someone with experience or just left alone.

Yeah, @SilentCobra, things have changed a little in the past decade. Speedpaints aren't the holy grail of what submitters should aspire to, so v0te appr0priately if that's your inclination, but the community seems more open to this sort of stuff now. It's just unfortunate that most of these speedpaints are just afterthoughts uploaded here after making their debut on YT; most are shameless advertisements of the users' YT channels.

Be on the lookout for any copyrighted music, ANY, and do note that the whistle system is no longer busted, if you haven't already seen. Speedpaints tend to be rife with copyrighted songs just because the users who tend to make them also tend to be ignorant of NG culture and the ever-evolving policies we have to mold to in order to keep afloat now that Google and the labels whose pockets they're in are collectively giving us the stink-finger.

None of their info matches up. We got two guys, one being 31 and one being 21 years old. One's from the Netherlands, one's from Slovakia. The author here has never submitted anything before or if he has, it's been removed.

If they were the same person, I don't know why the guy would submit just his last video that he made. Plus, the name of the video isn't even the same as the one on YouTube. What a bad thief. Removed.
