With the loss of mattsims, -BADLUCK- and RedGlare you'll notice that the total population fell in each category except B/P. A big thanks to those who kept it on the rise.
Averages went WAY up, including the reveiwing average which is quickly pulling closer to 1,000. But if ~X~ doesn't stop by soon we may have a disaster. ;_;

With those averages the typical user here wold be: Level 12 and an Elite Guard Captain. Kinda like DoD I guess you could say. =P

Well, First Lieutenant, I wouldn't call her posts spam per se, but they were definately instigating those that were spamming.

I checked mine out using the GIMP. When I open it, it shows each .gif frame as a layer. Finding mine was simple.

Well, I think today has been the worst Saturday as far as B/P points are concerned that I have had in an extremely long time. Having finally got myself a couple of hours free late at night (it's currently just coming up to 3AM here in the UK), the site goes down due to the weather problems over in the US. Typical!! As a result I've only got a pathetic 20 points today, continuing my poor showing over recent weeks (I've barely averaged 15 a day over the past 5 days).

Looking at the averages in the Barracks I have a long way to go to be above average in ANY of the categories! That shall be my aim from now on- starting with reviews (written 5 today already).

Anyway, back to the portal I guess for a little longer. Hopefully the downtime will mean a flood of submissions now that it's back online *crosses fingers*

Thanks for clearfying the spamming issue, Eagle. I am not surprised to see that her post remaining in the Barracks. For some reason, she just never gets banned even when her posts look spammy. I am quite jealous, actually, whenever my posts are spammy, Evark, RedCircle or Ozcar will ban me for at least 3 days. But nevertheless, as long as I don't spam, I do not have to worry about being banned. I had two papers to write earlier today. Thanks to the active portal, I am not too behind. By the way, I have seen the newest update for the b/p 51+ ranks. Eagle, Ghost, Slash, LittleWashu, you people are amazing. I wonder how you (besides Slash who don't go to school.) can get so many points with lots other work to do? I am very eager to learn a way to get b/p points effectively since I cannot spend the whole day in front of the laptop. I know that 47 per day is not bad. But hey, I want to keep you hungry b/p lions away as long as possible. Does anyone want to tell me how to be an effective b/p user?

I have many hours a day that I have access to a computer, no matter where I am. Simple as that. I just B/P during those spare few minutes you get ever so often throughout the day.

Well...I guess that I will have to live up with it since school (GPA) and my gf are important to me. In fact, in order to get 45+ per day for my average last week, I already sacrifaced some studying time which resulted in a big failure (for me) in my Calculas III test as I only scored 92%. (A-) I see all the other grades besides A's as failures. But the good news is that I will get another chance next Friday and hopefully I will bounce back. I did not start b/ping until 10:30 pm because of school works. But thanks to the active portal, I have gained 40 points already. Hopefully, I will get 50 points before I wrap off the day.

Eagle, I suddenly got a second thought about your new policy about someone reminding others not to reply to the spammers. You said that he/she can go to the forums. But I noticed that not every member here had joined the forums. What if a member here is not a member of the forums and he/she argues with the spammers since there is no reminder posted? Eagle, I believe that reminders should be allowed here as long as the people who post reminders do not argue with the spammers or spam himself/herself. After all, not everybody has membership with the forums. What do you think, Eagle?
