Oh, and Bahamut, I found myself in your sig. After fiddlefartin' around with MS Paint for a while in order to actually seperate my name from the rest of the screen, I got it here for ya. :P

I saw my name in there, but I couldn't take a screenie in time. I am hoping to get to Elite guard private first class relatively soon, now that I got back into a steady b/p rate.

Interesting...
But when should this be used?

you can sing a barracks song whenever you want to, whilst b/ping, or taking a shower, or if you want to look like a freak in a karaoke bar. :D
it's something i do for fun actually, sometimes there's something that pops in my mind and then there is no other way but to work it out.

so here's my latest: stuck in the port'l with you (original stuck in the middle, Dylan; interpreted amongst others by "the eagles of death metal"
I listened to that song while reading your song. Much better when together. Sir! XD

that was my goal. i like to stick close to the original lyrics when possible. i allways try to keep the original rythm and riming scheme if possible.

funny note: all of a sudden they played this song in the bar i was in last night. at three am or so.

it is not my song, it's Bob dylan's, he's the talented one, not i. most of those words where his, i just changed a couple of words so that it would fit this club. but i'm glad that it motivated you ,

if there are any requests, adaptations of a certain song you'ld like to see just shout it out and i'll consider it.

Then they are stupid for arguing with a spammer in the first place. Besides, just because they aren't a member of the forums doesn't change the policy.

Eagle, I believe that reminders should be allowed here as long as the people who post reminders do not argue with the spammers or spam himself/herself. After all, not everybody has membership with the forums. What do you think, Eagle?

Absolutely no. There is a no-conversing policy for a reason. Any talk WHATSOEVER about the spammer fuels the flame, as it gives the person the satisfaction they were looking for. No talking at all is just like ignoring them, therefore it will cause them to go, as they aren't getting that satisfaction out of taunting us here. If just one user says something, everyone else that has been ignoring the spammer has been negated, as that one person has given the spammer satisfaction. Therefore, they go on, despite almost all our efforts.

It's very simpple...they should join the forums. If you don't join the forums, then you cede your ability to talk about the spammer. The no-conversing policy is strict here. The Barracks Forums are there for a reason. If you don't want to join the forums, then you cannot talk about spammers at all.

Exactly. If you can't take 5 minutes to sign up to follow a strict policy, then why are you even here? It's not even like it's a hard policy to follow! The only reason the policy is so strict is that people STILL talk to spammers! Why on Earth do you have to address them at all? I honestly don't get it.

You don't have to go to the forums to ignore someone, the point is just don't talk to/about them.
We don't need reminders, the last time a spammer decided to stop by the only people who responded was your hot_and_charming and Mutant_BusterJr. Not one EGB member responded... they all already know better.

I'll say it again in different words to make sure I'm clear.

- Ignoring spammers doesn't require a seperate forum.
- Reminders is bringing attention to spammers
- Reminders are annoying.

Really? Nice. I protected it with a 2. It's not great but I'd say it works with NG. You need to get some smoother animations on it and kill the static in the voices.

We meant to animate it like that. It's inspired by the show "Tom Goes to the Mayor." If you have ever seen it, its just like this, the people are black and white (stamp effect) and the backgrounds are colored, and the animation is deliberatly slow and crappy to make it more humorous. We did the best we could on the voices, I had to leave early and we couldn't redo some of the lines, but I think it's ok. Could have been better though.

I'm afraid most NG users will think it wasn't intended and think you just don't what you guys are doing... But I thought it was good enough... Especially considering other submissions... I look for that with every author.

Considering that it passed with a 2.91 and all the semi-decent to decent reviews it got, I think mostly everyone got the concept that it was intended.

Does any one have a say about this movie? At passed judgment and I don’t know about you but mine didn’t load and I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes and counting… If it was any other author I’d be sure my pc is screwed up but seeing as we are dealing with j00bie I suspect both mass reviewing and mass voting. Any thoughts any one?

It didn't load for me either. It's probably similar to Chrome-'s "Arizona" movies. Absolute nothingness that passes because people want the protection point, are friends of the author, or just vote based on them having lots of previous submissions.

Well in that case, youre fine.

In other depressing news, I learned that if i deposit 10 exp per day, it will take me 118 years 5 months 8 days to reach level 30 user status. Damn you pimp and humantarget52...

It's that mistake people keep making. If HT52 and Pimp keep depositing, you'll never get to level 30. :P But for me, I have to spend 93 years to get to level 29. Looking at how long I have for each level, I have two months until I get to level 14, then 7 months until I get to level 15 (around when I start college).

Ugh... sorry about that, but it was a real bad typo.

I meant that Denvish's exp calculator doesn't say how long it'll take until you reach level 30 but level 29 instead. I meant to say 118 not 112 also. I'm an idiot.

I'd imagine you could reach level 30 in 6 years tops not 112. Think about it. If you deposit your 10 every week thats 70 right there. There are 365 days in a year. Multiply that by 10 exp you get 3650. Mulitply 3650 by 6+ 21900. Thats close enough to 30 and there you just deposit as you would. So end of day. 45 B/P nothing im to proud of but I have breached the #1000 barrier in ranking for B/P which is nice considering I've never favored digits over 3. Got hit with a lot of snow today don't know if that means school for me will be cancelled monday or what but hopefully it will so I may continue to hold a steady rate of B/P. Portal at a smooth pace right now but afternoons kill me as the entries in this time seem to come out slow. Happy hunting everyone.

Wrong my level 9 friend. That calculation is only valid if the level 30 users never deposit again but since the system works in a way that makes their depositing harder on us it really would take about a 100 years.

Every time the level 30 user deposits all levels from 10-30 require more experience. Therefore it becomes more difficult to level up with each passing day.

This is how much more every day:

Well...Pimp and HT52 can stop at any time. They may stop today, tomorrow, next year, in 10 years, or never stop until they die So the time it takes you to reach level 30 should be between 6 years and 100 years. (If you can live that long.)
