It's malicious for me. If it's not a flash, and it links to another site, I'd consider it malicious. Nice catch Jolly!

Nice to see it busy here on the EGB it was quiet when I posted before. Well I have been playing Oblivion I really like the game now it grows on you the more you play on it. Well anyone seen any of the flashes on the front page I don't think I have yet. Maybe I will check them out. I'm going to write some more reviews some time.

I had expected that we would have appointed the position of Records Officer by now, but situations IRL have slowed down the process for many members. Our glorious leader EagleRock, among others, have been dealing with life's curve balls, but hopefully soon things will settle down and we'll hear from him soon enough. Thanks for the roster, Byte. I admit I've been a major slacker lately. It's been so nice outside, despite the heat. I'm sure my numbers will pick back up, that monthly gain was.... dismal, to say the least. Life has caught up with me a bit, but August looks to be a good month.

Well you have about 341 to go so it could vary. If you average about 20 a day it would take about half a month.. but if you go hardcore as you said that to me means about 50+ a day or about a week. But remember to vote as you think and not just give everything a 5 to get your points faster, this is not the place to be a stat whore. Its where we protect the portal and help make sure the submissions get voted on fairly.

It's on August 15th. I might miss it due to being in Florida and won't be able to submit my submission unless I email it to myself and upload down there if I get internet outside the lobby in my room.

Maybe that's when the redesign comes out or something big is happening on that day and Tom is trying to keep it private. Either that or he doesn't care.

Actually, Tom did mention Clock Day on another news post but he prioritised Madness Day over it. A lot of users commented on how it was bullshit to leave Clock Day in the dark when it's meant to be the 10th anniversary for B this month. Whether the day gets loads of spam or not, I'd rather Clock Day gets more exposure since there's a lot more character to the Clock Crew than there'll ever be for Madness.

I'm not a big fan of the Clock Crew but I have to admit that Clock Day is a big event in the Newgrounds calendar and even though it is the biggest mass saving event of the year I think it serves its purpose.

An even 1,000 points for the month. I'll take it! I'm actually quite impressed that I was even able to get that many considering how many blam points that I could have had with those barely passing submissions. But that is sort of usual so I can't complain too much. Haven't posted here too much lately but it's because everytime I see something that looks suspicious it ends up checking out.

I'm going to be private soon but I don't have a bronze whistle. Any idea how long it takes to get a bronze whistle?

Thanks for the Roaster the time goes by so quick, I think its so important this years Clock Day ten years of B! I don't understand why Madness Day get more attention. Then I have never been a big fan of Krinkles or the Madness series as a whole. I do enjoy seeing some. Clocks I could watch all day Clock Day is on Monday 15th August must remember that.

I've been gone for two weeks and all you guys can manage is two pages! Geez things are slow around here.

Just to add my two cents into this I try to get as many blams as I can but there seems to be fewer numbers of flashes that get blamed now. I havn't been here for that long and I think that even in that time its a noticable decrease, so my ratio is getting worse by the day.

Very legitimate question. While I can only answer for myself, I will tell you this: I do attempt to blam the cookie-cutters and certainly the trash, but in the event of an "honest" flash that is borderline, I'll give out a 2 for effort. Historically, blams have always been hard to come by for me, and I too am concerned about the low blam numbers I am pulling. I've noticed it too - maybe I need just to be more critical. As for the saves - I am online many hours a day, which is why my overall B/P is up there. I'm just not hitting the blams right. I really haven't changed my voting habits or sense of fairness - maybe it's time to reconsider my borderline requirements.

Hope this explains things. I really don't want to come off as hypocritical - my intentions are good, but my results sometimes fall short. More importantly, I respect your right to question these habits, especially considering my rank and responsibilities here. Glad to see someone is paying attention and trying to keep me on my toes!

I did notice a lot of Lock Legion flashes it was really great to see them back in the portal, I guess it was like old times. Lock Legion being I think a spin off the Clock Crew and CC day which is now only a week away. Hope it will be better then last year. I thought CC day last year was a bit of a let down compared to previous years.

When does the roster come out here?

I'd like to know because I want to see the top gainers. I just got 233 b/p points in the last week so this sunday to last sunday. Also could someone evaluate me? I know I don't have the whistle but I want to see what else I have to improve besides my whistle status.

The EBG rosters are monthly, posted at the first day of every month. If you want to see a weekly gain from them, you'll have some math to do. There's about 4.25 weeks per month.

I wrote a little guide a while ago on my alt. I'd say I'm somewhat decent at finding abusive reviews. I have a deity whistle, my alt has a bronze whistle, and I helped EpicFail fix his garbage whistle recently.

Here's the guide. I should probably re-write it though. I've yet to see anybody post complaining about their reviews being removed in Wi/Ht since I started actively browsing it, and the way I worded #7 makes it seem like I meant flag abusive reviews on blammed submissions, which you can't do.

First reason, I don't check the portal that often. I'd say only about every 2 hours, and by then the really bad submissions have already been removed, although as of recently I've been checking more often and my blams per day have increased a lot.

7/29/11 - 5 Save/Blam ratio

7/27/11 - 5 Save/Blam ratio

I didn't use this week as an example because I've been on vacation and have barely been able to B/P.

Obviously, some days my Save/Blam ratio is terrible. Honestly, I don't know why and I've been trying to make sure it never happens. Looking at the obituaries for the 10 and 12 Save/Blam ratios, I only remember viewing 1-2 of the flash submissions, but I can't be certain because I cleared my history before I left to go on vacation.

Anyways.. I should bring up my second reason.

This. Up until recently, I was okay with the "cookie cutter" flash submissions. I felt there was enough effort put into each one of them to receive at least a two. Now I blam them because after a year of B/Ping everyday without a break, they've become quite annoying.
