You know, after so many bland and unimpressive minigames sponsored by and/or stolen from other idiotic websites, it's actually refreshing to finally see some regular shitty flashes on the Portal.

I spent a good chunk of the day on the Portal and thus far I've netted 13 saves and only three blams. I know that I voted zero or one on a lot more than three flashes, so...yeah, this is...kinda depressing. Still, better to do something than nothing---not B/P'ing isn't going to make the shit go away.

I am severely depressed at my early B:P ratio, though. Hopefully it'll even out as my total improves.

Pretty sure this is stolen.

It's uploaded by a website that redistributes flash submissions for people to help them become more popular. I guess it wouldn't be any different than a website like ArmorGames uploading other peoples submissions here, would it?

Yeah, sometimes people sell their games to sponsors and don't actually do any of the uploading themselves. The sponsors can then upload them if that's in their agreement.

My game Pyroscape 3 was sponsored for $350 by a well known site (Check it out Sunday at 2:00 as that's when we have to submit it based on our agreement), but we've agreed that we will upload it. It's all depends on the type of license and how people agree on things, but a lot of small time and big time game makers never upload their own game because they've given the rights to it to someone else.

It's just finding out when these "sponsors" are actually paying for the games or stealing them without permission. How you tell that... I don't know..

I expect EVERY member of the EGB who is active at the moment, and reads this post, to weigh in on this thread in some form or another, and without spamming or needless bumping, to help keep it active. You don't have to write a massive post like myself or Coop if you don't want, but I would be disappointed in anyone who didn't have something to say on the matter.

I still need to sort out my account on the private forums, not had the time to do it yet. Hatein' not having a working laptop :(. I also see that I have missed quite a few stolen flashs since I was last here, it's going to take a while for me to get the silver whistle at this rate.

Well it seems my hunt for a decently priced laptop has come to a stand still. Because the one i was going to get jumped up in price by a considerable amount and just out of my reach currently. Also have missed quite a few stolen flashes and just haven't really had the time to devote to trying to promote my whistle.

I know the feeling. For me the finacial issue comes from me buying a ticket to Download Festival in November and now having to fork out for food, alcohol and other stuff whilst I'm there, so my laptop fund is stuck at nothing until mid June.

Holy Crap.....how that passed judgment I will never understand (I gave it a big fat zero almost immediately), I mean it barely even worked and it was a test of a LOGO. I second you Slash, it's a real pain in the ass to wait those flashes to load. When I see this kind of flash, I just Alt + Left it. Leave it there. Won't waste my time on those idiot flashes.
