Sushi is validated now and should be able to post. I've been busy this past week and haven't had much time to post, so I apologize for that. I was checking the forums for Sushi's account, but I made the big mistake of thinking the "The newest member is" was accurate. It still shows Andrea364, even though other users have created accounts since then.

I have a feeling that the fact she signed up, was deleted by Slash when she was inactive, then signed up a second time caused some kind of issue. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do since I can get to the back end of the forum. I have a feeling that a PM might be necessary in the future to make sure I catch all of the logins.

That being said, If there is anyone that needs re-validation, please let me know.

Since when have I come across as needy Puddin? The only time I come across as needy is when I'm making smart-ass remarks.

In other news, Eagle or SCTE3, would either of you mind depositing for today? I'm busy cleaning for a little bit here.

I think that there's an admin option somewhere in those kind of forums where you can choose to get an e-mail each time a new user signs up. It can be a bit annoying but the EGB forums aren't too active anyway.

In other uninteresting news I'm back to using Google Chrome. I had forgotten how fast it was, and there have been some good changes since the last time I used it. Let's see how long it takes before I start missing Firefox again :)

Well done for that mwmike it got flagged looked fishy the comments were somewhat suspect. Never understand why people steal stuff. Gosh time flies by when you level up only another 3 days till I reach level 34. I don't go on the EGB forums often I do check from time to time but not that active compared to this one on Newgrounds. I was curious about this guy he claimed he has some stuff stolen, but its looks suspect his user page here. flash http://twistedxmadness.newgrounds.com/ne ws/post/435294. His flash looks like madness clips.

Stolen:

It has the programmer and the art guy on the bottom before you start playing the game, and their website where the game is. The guy claims he "made it in 5 weeks" so he must be lying since there's at least two people that worked on this. Oh, and he has the wrong email address for the game.

Yes he says that some people stole his flashes but he only submitted one flash and it doesn't look like anybody stole it. It looks like he's lying :/

It passed judgment, you'll have to PM Wade. Talking about that, I just PMed him because I found this stolen song in the Audio Portal. I really wish Audio Mods were able to delete audio submissions, because it takes too long for them to be deleted this way :(

That probably would be a good idea. Did you bring it up last time there was a "Newgrounds Improvement" thread or whatever? Because that would be the only kind of place it might get noticed.

I really need to review more, but it's so hard to find stuff worth reviewing and then follow through with the review.

That thread is still active. In fact, I do post there from time to time. But the admis (or at least some mods) have already heard about it, because other people have mentioned it many times before, and I think it won't happen. Apparently it would give the Audio mods too much power, even though art mods can delete art submissions :/

However, if you want to suggest the idea, here's the thread: deas for Newgrounds' Evolution MK3.

I really need to review more, but it's so hard to find stuff worth reviewing and then follow through with the review.

Yeah, I'm not much of a reviewer either. Maybe you could join the Review Request Club ;)

Nah. If they've heard it and have reasons against it, they probably know best. Well, Wade didn't know best how to deal with spammers, which has left the Portal barren of all but the occasional Clock-type,

Yeah, I'm not much of a reviewer either. Maybe you could join the Review Request Club ;)

I tried, long ago. But unfortunately I lost interest fast, especially since I suck something horrible at reviewing audio.

Stolen Flash

It isn't of a particularly high quality, but this is watermarked to 2005 in at least three places. It isn't the kind of thing that would take five years to create.

I can't find another link on NG, but a five year old watermark on a submission coming in today? Nah.

Hmm... it is odd that someone would make a flash and not upload it anywhere for 5 years, but the website it mentions at the end is half-done and there's nothing on it. It may be that the guy (whose account is from '05, interestingly enough) is just majorly lazy and procrastinated for this long because there's really no reason to upload something like that anyway.

Doubt = no flag, IMO. It's much better to report something to Wade once we know it's stolen than to flag something unfairly. Even little bits of crap like this.

Good find, Sir-Nuts. Also, has anyone else been having trouble getting some flashes to load? It might be my comp, but that's unlikely since I have all the latest flash players and what not.

Stolen from

and probably Splapp Me Do as well, since he created it.

The quality is shocking and if it had been submitted by the original creator, it would have at least had Splapp's name on the authors somewhere!

Well, I used to have problems when I opened too many flashes at once (like 7+). Then they would stop loading. But that hasn't happened in a good time now. Always try to reinstall Flash, that's worked with me a few times. ;)

Just a thought still its sad I did not know till I checked on General. Yep been a little quiet here not much to talk about I guess. No I think the flashes are loading okay on my Mac not had any trouble so far. More b/ping would be cool I think. Mine is slow.

I'll take a look into it. I don't like the Invasion Powerboard system, I much prefer the phpBB system. I really really really should get my ass in traction in terms of actually setting up a new forum. I don't like the fact that they don't let you get backup copies of their database. I'd much rather have the ability to back up the data myself. :-)

In other uninteresting news I'm back to using Google Chrome. I had forgotten how fast it was, and there have been some good changes since the last time I used it. Let's see how long it takes before I start missing Firefox again :)

In my opinion, Chrome is a great ideal and a good way to advance the browsers, just like the iPhone was to the cell phone industry. However, let's face it...that doesn't make it perfect. Chrome has a lot of bad things about it, too. I'd still say Firefox is the most functional of the browsers, despite some slow performance and the occasional memory leak. However, you can expect what makes Chrome great to show up in other browsers in the future.

Cobra's not needy - he's just high maintenance and has the natural requirement that he constantly reminds everyone just how better off the world is since he's been born. A person of his renown and stature must certainly have a following of loyal supplicants that continually remind him of his greatness. Of course, his grandeur is only superseded by his uncanny wit and indisputable mastery of the English language.

Or, maybe it's because he's a self-proclaimed gun-totin' proud American redneck that just needs to hear some kind words once in a while.

But whatever the reason, once you get past the high-maintenance part, he's a pretty good guy to know - despite his faults.

It sounds like the London Meet in January 2009, when Bezman was running around with his camera, introducing himself, getting screen names and then a picture of each user, followed by his ever so innocent question "Could I possibly get a picture of your arse?"

Seriously, I've never heard anyone sound so demure and sweet / innocent in a Scottish accent before. He was apparently going to make a Flash out of all of this, but this plan has been shelved for now.

Perhaps I'll get a good camera and then find myself an animator to bring this pipe dream back to life at the next London meet...

Hey, it's not my fault I grew up around guns, country life, and have a dad who enjoys country life more than bein' a city-slicker. Hell, I prefer the country anyway. You can make as much noise as you want and no one gives a fuck. Have a bonfire, no one will care. Shoot guns and still no one cares. Blow shit up, no one will care.
