I thought, this couldn't be legitimate, because it uses the Cannon Macro Language, probably one of the least known methods of writing a shoot-em-up game in Flash. But then, I went to the creator of Cannon ML's webpage on WonderFL, and discovered this:

Hell, I'm up for most games that involve guns and shooting. Especially first-person shooters. and yes it is awesome, but it requires a semi-beefy computer to truly enjoy, I'll admit. Counter-strike is a bit easier on the graphics card, so most can enjoy it.

Yes of course I agree. For some reason, the only game I can't stand is Crysis. Probably because I haven't given it a proper good gaming, but I just dislike the game and I know it's like "The best graphical game ever made" but there is no point in that if the game itself isn't one to actually like :\

Actually, that doesn't seem like that at all. If anything, you're showing a courtesy to all the other posters by taking the time to respond to most/all of them. Most of my posts tend to be that, by the way. Most of the time the discussions are multi-layered around here, so you don't really need to do much to start off new convos, just roll forward the current ones.

Cool Roster time thanks for the update Lizzardis gosh the month has gone by so quick now its January 2010. I have ben slow on the b/p but I have been getting more games. I have brought Resident Evil 5 and its not bad the graphics are amazing some of the best since GTA 4 maybe. I'm not to sure about the way they have changed it I used to be a massive RE fan back in the day. I had my doubts about this new game because of the way its so different from the classic ones sadly survival horror seems to going that way more action and shooting. On to Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 its looks good don't really like FPS though, I like third person games. But its been a massive seller and all. Cool to see the flashes getting sorted quickly.

Here's just a friendly heads-up, since I doubt the NGPD will do anything.

Thanks for the warning - but please remember that our function here in the EGB is to protect the portal - we are not a mass-voting group. The B/P points are nice, but they are secondary to the job at hand - voting fairly on each flash, and whistle those that are truly whistle-worthy.

We'll keep it in mind that there may be a spam surge on January 8th, and if there is, we will be on the lookout to judge each one on it's own (de)merits. If they are all blam-worthy, so be it.

We do appreciate the warning, and hope that you will vote fairly on all flashes - vote what you think they deserve, not just if you think "it's going to pass anyway". Too many people just go for the protection point, and right now, for every seven flashes submitted into the portal, about five are passing. But many of them pass with borderline scores - even though they really are spam and junk.

We are trying to set a positive example by being fair to all flashes. It's not always easy to give up that "sure point" - but then again, sometimes the right way isn't the easy way.

Well I'm getting the hang of drawing with my tablet in the program that it came with "Corel Painter Essentials 4" and dare I say, it is a nice piece of software. Also Byte, you really need to be on AIM a lot more often than when Lizz, Pork, or myself ask you to get on AIM.

Getting back to my drawing, I started doing it about 7:30ish and called it a night around 10:30ish.

You know, I watched that, and I actually thought some of it was pretty funny, and well drawn. You should never vote on a submission based on that author's author submissions either, you should know better than that Cobra!

Well, I thank you for giving us a heads-up, and I thank my fellow members for clarifying our stance on voting. While Byte, Lizz, and the rest did a good job of explaining it, I did want to add one further thing:

If you hear rumors or whatever about a Flash submission fest or something going around, that's all well and good, but it shouldn't predetermine how you vote on a Flash. In this case, you have a feeling G-H's Flash will be flagworthy, in which case it'd be good to mention, to give people a heads-up that there might be a bunch of malicious Flash coming on the Portal. However, that should in no way affect your voting on any of the Flash out there. If anything, all it should do is make you a bit more alert to know there might be a large influx of Flash or something of that nature. In that case, take each one on its own merits/drawbacks and vote accordingly.

I'm not trying to belabor the point, I just wanted to clarify. It's obvious that wasn't your intent, but we have a lot of people that think we are some kind of mass-voting group or anything of the like. We are nothing but the exact opposite of that. However, since people erroneously state the opposite about us, we take extra steps to make abundantly clear that we are for the opposite.

Decent eval, SpiffyMasta. I'd say it is a borderline Flash if anything, and ultimately this kind of submission comes down to user discretion. If enough find it offensive or breaking rules, it would've been flagged. Since it wasn't, I don't think a PM to Wade or anything is necessary. The majority has spoken.

Those guides are addictive. I find it a waste of money to buy them, as GameFAQs usually has equally good guides for the games, and in the case of games that change often (think WoW or Diablo II), the game guides become out of date before they are released. However, they look way too damn pretty not to buy. I haven't bought many lately, just Oblivion, and the New Super Mario Bros guides (for DS and Wii). Again, nothing that couldn't be gotten on the Internet for free, but...well, it's got pretty pictures (ooh, shiny)!

Losing Sanjay is a sad loss for the Newgrounds community as a whole, but then again users come and users go. I think that the community will live on without his account. After all, it's not as if he's dead.

Dam I'm snowed in the snow is really pissing me of fucking cold weather. Yes I have lots of guides and on GameFAQS there is some wicked guides on there trouble is printing them off can be a pain. I find that strategy guides can very much vary in quality, the one for Saints Row 2 was rubbish but the one for GTA 4 is cool. I find that it is annoying to find wrong information in an official guide. Anyway the portal looks okay rotten this snow though. Does not look like its going to go either.

If the replies were in the same page, multi-quoting would be difficult. Unless the new "quoted" post appears at the bottom in the existing reply box when you click "Reply & Quote". In that case, it would be better and more stylish.

Also, I can't wait for Luis to be added to the Staff page, but that will probably take a while.
