Ugh, don't make me relive the 500,000th flash submission catastrophe. Though I probably will anyway.
man what a day that was.
From what I've seen everyone talking about, I should wrack up some serious B/P points. Right?

Oh well, let me just tell you. Most of the day the portal is inundated with 70+ under judgement submissons, almost all are spammy garbage. I suggest you try to get on at midnight, the very start of clock day is most likely going to be very...interesting
From what I've seen everyone talking about, I should wrack up some serious B/P points. Right?
If your on most of the day... you will get over 1,000 saves easy. The last two clock days i pulled of over 1,000 each day.. don't expect more than 2-3 blams the entire day. If you look at the obituaries page from last year it's only 80 and the year before 90. But most of thoes were deleted and not balmmed.
Sadly, I'm not gonna be able to be on at midnight and one through the day because I have a 3 hour shift from 9-12 at work, then I'm home for 5 hours, then I'm back at work from 5:30-8:30+. So I'm only gonna be able to be on for those 5 hours. Still, I can't help but wonder how I'll do in 5 hours time.
And no Lizz, this will be the 1st Clock Day that I will have any sort of active participation in since I've joined. I'm merely estimating how the portal will be.
I plan on getting every single point on Clock Day, but due to my location, I may have to stay up two full nights. We shall see, I might just skip midnight and do the rest of the day from early in the morning.
Good luck guys :D
At 8/12/09 06:08 PM, Lizzardis wrote: Now this is getting ridiculous! 456 views and it hasn't passed judgement yet?!?! What the hell?
You always need to remember, 1 view =/= 1 vote.
People can view a flash as many times as they like in a day, but can only vote on it once per 24 hours.
At 8/12/09 07:23 PM, Lizzardis wrote: Go for it. Remember, don't drink energy drinks. You get a mega low from them once the energy rush has ran out.
I hate energy drinks, if anything, I'll be drinking coffee by the gallon.
Plus, I have never seen views as high as this before on a flash that hasn't passed judgement!
Remember Charlie the Unicorn 3? That got 1400 views before it passed judgement.
God I forgot about Clockday only two days to go, looks like Turd of the Week has been stolen again by Gendeless-Hooker despite my flagging the reviews second time now. On last years Clockday I got 35 b/p points this year the day is Saturday instead of Friday. God I miss rage's thread you got some really cool links to abusive reviews and flashes. Talking of which I was unsure if these submissions are stolen some of them are from different websites, here is one found lots on the net.
Stolen? from

http://www.mathsisfun.com/games/higher-o r-lower.html

Sorry for the links but it looks odd are these stolen? one of them is under admin review.

Hey there! Nuts reporting in!
First of all, sorry for not being able to post activelly again, as I promissed. I've been really tired lately, since school is back and I started an afternoon course every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (and on Saturdays as well, every fifteen days). I have to study a lot now, and that means very little free time. I still get to do my daily deposit and some B/P, but it's very little now.
Anyway, how's everyone getting prepared for Clock Day? I'll try to spend quite some time in the portal, but I won't five everything like some people do. Really, I still plan on watching the flashes before voting on them. AND YOU SHOULD AS WELL! >:(
Also, I think my right elbow is fractured. It hurts whenever I move it and it bothers me whenver I write/type/carry anything. Soldier down, guys. =/
Gotta go, long day tomorrow!

It's simply when someone "hacks" (even though it's not really hacking) an old inactive account on newgrounds. Whenever you see the word Yeek or any form of it on an account somewhere it's been "hacked". That's how a lot of spammers get old accounts and they spam with them, etc.. It's something that I can't tell you how to do though. :P Someone could have yeeked my account awhile back, but it's yeek proof now.

You don't have to, it's been said by 0zone, creb (his personal method), also mods and even on their userpages telling people how to prevent it.

Actually you illiterate BBS rand, 'yeek' is a term coined by cr0mZX way back which means to hack, but now it's a term usually for compromising a Newgrounds account using the expired hotmail exploit. Also Chris (creeb, crebz,Chris Beer etc) is an 09 rookie that's been in the DD for only barely 2 months, he hasn't done anything @ all except upload 'questionable images' to the art portal, nothing else. He tries to take credit for what other people do by nudging in and pretending to be associated with something and eventually taking all credit for it, he's very annoying+gay because he takes Newgrounds so seriously going out of his way to try to get his name out, while all of the other members are laid back+silly and can actually do shit. The older and established members of the DuckDivision think chris is gay.

I'm going to be drinking buckets of coffee, and get an early night sleep, then wake up tommorow morning ready to vote. Also, I thought everyone watched the animations? I'ts why I love Clock Day, you get some hilarious stuff.
Hey guys, I'm back from New Mexico!
What all have I missed? Can someone give me the cliffnotes?
And is Clock day really tomorrow? How time flies!

I'm totally not doing the coffee thing. My back is so STIFF, I just might fix myself a STIFF martini. I just hope when I pay the bartender he totally doesn't STIFF me on the cost.
Lul, lul.

But I'll try and make it for as much Clock day as possible.

Nice to see you back dude. Basically what I told you over AIM, new recruits, others ranking and leveling up, stolen/malicious/unsuitable flashes, the [BB] is back and they've been taking Rule 34 with Drew Pickles from Rugrats way too fucking far. ugh. MY EYES!! I NEED GOOD HENTAI!!! NOW!!!
*runs to look at kick ass hentai stash on own laptop*
Wait, what's this about Clock Day buddies? Is it about submitting flash or what? First I've heard of this.

Since I remember you and there are no glaring problems in your history, I'll summarily re-admit you without the recruitment vote rigmarole. Welcome back!
Two days until Clock Day! Prepare yourselves!

Where am I at on this list? I know I have work that morning and evening, but I still feel left out.
man, as if I didn't have to put up with this kind of shit in school from the age of 5-15, I'm hurt. T_T

Awww... Well, I'll be your buddy if you really want one :D
except I'm lame and don't have any of those fancy IM thingamawhatsits.
Come to think of it, I may be busy Saturday, so I hope I can join everyone before or after I'm done. I hope there's not much to do.
Also, I'll be anyone's buddy, *hugs* :3.
Hopefully I will have time to vote on Saturday. Sadly that is the day I start RA training and disappear from society T_T. We shall have to see.

I don't plan to B/P a lot. I'll watch some flashes, and I'll vote as usual. Hopefully we'll see some great submissions like last year.
Also, I think my right elbow is fractured. It hurts whenever I move it and it bothers me whenver I write/type/carry anything. Soldier down, guys. =/
Oh, you really should see a doctor. I hope everything is alright!

Yes it has, I remember back when you first applied to the NGPD, you still b/p-ing at that same rate from back then?

I've been lurking, I never really felt part of the EGB during my short stint here before my internet was cut off, just wanted to make sure I did my homework this time so it won't be the rough switch like last time
Welcome back P-I, nice to have you aboard...Or we will do anyway. It seems strange that I didn't really know you back when you were NGPD roster manager....Then you left, and then I ended up with the spot after some time, and now your back and I hope to get to know you some more.
it wasn't a long time to get to know somebody, I'm sure if I had had longer we'd have gotten along swimmingly, anyway, it's nice to be back and I don't need to worry about school until the 8th so I'll be around at least that long, though I expect to be around much longer
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.
God it's slow as hell. The portal, our thread, everything is slow as hell. Though I do believe that everyone is gearing up for Clock Day this saturday and busy making their flashes, thus it's the calm before the storm. Ugh, it's gonna be a mess.
