I really hope I get my job application approved at GameStop here in Hillsborough, NC. It'd be a highly welcomed part-time job change from where I'm working now. Not as much stress, nor anxiety for me to deal with on a weekly basis. That and I'd be inside all day, in the A/C and keeping the shelves clean and whatnot. That and it's rarely busy as it is. Except maybe during the Christmas season. Other than that, it's slow as hell.
Trust me, it will be a much welcomed change.

MA is one of the worst in the country. Employers hate me, I don't understand why.. or computers hate me considering everywhere has you apply online which is the dumbest idea I have seen in quite awhile. Online interviews leave way too much grey area, and removes the personal aspects that you will be using on the job. It is a very poor way to evaluate job candidates in my opinion.

In other news, damn, as others have mentioned, the Portal is in kind of a dull slump lately. Submission rate is kinda "bleh", and while there's a healthy amount (or rather, unhealthy amount) of stolen flash being submitted and attempted fileswaps by a new incarnation of the Barney Bunch (in this former BB member's opinion, rather less exciting than the old version), it's all small-time stuff.
I suppose we should be glad that the DD has collapsed into a barely-active and small-scale group, but meh, it is kinda boring (hence why I haven't been very active lately). Hopefully a new flash group will soon fill in the power vacuum, and be controversial (without being rulebreaking) and hilarious. Maybe this incarnation of the BB will mutate into that over time. Or maybe not. Well, at least the mod-hijacking has stopped.
...now I'm hoping the Lit Portal comes more than ever, because that WILL give me an incentive to NG a shitload more often.

The portal really has been slow lately. Although I can't say it is a very bad thing, considering I have been posting quite a bit more in the forums. Because of that I feel my writing is improving.

Not sure I don't know but I have changed to Camino because its very close to FireFox. I found that it was crashing when I loaded up pages, and shutting down I had to force quit. I was getting Beach Balls that is a mac version of crashing. It was getting worse over time. Add on I'm not sure. Shame as I been using FireFox for over a year and liked it. Your lucky I hope my Mac not had it. BB are annoying DD are quiet but I would not count on that for very long giving there track record.

As for the Portal, yeah it's been in quite the slump lately. So slow, in fact, that I've had time to go over pages of flashes and look for reviews. I come back and a grand total of 5 flashes have appeared.

I've spent the last 3-4 months completely overworked or living out of a suitcase. My hormones have gone just as insane as I am, and I've been reduced to either stuttering or taking pauses while talking. I find it hard to get good sleep, and my social life is non-existent.
