On the topic of award theft, yeah, TOTW was won unfairly, but that's the least of our concerns. Still, encourage people to think before zero-voting something that's passed judgment, at least before the week's awards are chosen, and discourage every-day zero voting as the enormous waste of time that it is.

I noticed it's been pretty quiet in the portal this week, you guy's think it has anything to do with it being exam time for most students?

I for one haven't been B/P'ing much because of revision and coursework.

Congrats on getting into EGB Insanimation welcome to the club. I have not really noticed it being quiet on the portal but then I guess I don't check it out as often as some of the other members, which is why my b/p is not so high a few a day is my highest. I level up on Monday really cant wait to trade my icon for The Hunting Knife level 30 feels like I have hit a really big milestone. Anyway I played this game under judgment but did not think anyway of it till I noticed some stolen reviews. Now I did some research and could not tell for sure if it was stolen what do you think?

KrevZabijak I checked out the link not to sure but the score gone down since it passed. I did some looking but the real author is called Tymex http://www.kongregate.com/games/Tymex/ba rack-obreak. However the author here got the same name but with two xx Tymexx . Not to sure I did not see it under judgment but it may be stolen. The Fire Kills game not sure about either any thoughts? One of RR aka Chris Beer passed again wonder how long TOTW will last?

phantomlassuk, i have to say that your job in the Barracks is pretty amazing, Krev is doing a nice job too, both of you... (how do i say this in english?)... both should be admired (or is, both are admirable... i'm not sure) for all the time that you spend watching for stolen flashes, there is a lot of dedication, and i am proud of having such amazing users on the barracks

I've seen people submit stolen flash with permutations of names and it got caught. This case is an interesting one, but the time-frame between its creation and its submission to NG among other factors is what swayed it for me. It's a rare thing for a flash submitter to change their name when uploading their works to various websites. Not nonexistent, but a tad rare.

Thank you aldlv I'm very flattered by your comments its nice to see that our hard work is noticed. But yes that game may be stolen the name change does seem odd. I will PM Tom Fulp about the other game also looking for stolen flashes is hard but its just luck sometimes. I missed some but I do try my best. I look for clues and hopefully that is enough. That FatBadger flash was really gross I thought it pushed the very tastes of the site. Still is it against the rules? its flash but if the clips are stolen then would be bad. What makes you think he will get his account deleted? I think he has maybe stolen a flash game before?

Alert thought this looked odd and I checked his profile and I think this may be stolen.

Weekly awards come out tonight, so everyone keep your fingers crossed that the Portal's luck continues. Remember to report any suspected review abuse, such as alt-reviewing, to a review mod as soon as you notice it. Turd being stolen isn't much to be concerned about (although we should still encourage people to vote/review intelligently), but Underdog and Review Crew Pick are; remember that a flash needs thirty reviews or more to qualify for those two awards, so don't panic if you see a shit flash have two or three perfect scores.

I'm still considering having a Review Violations Officer, who could also be responsible for keeping track of possible award-stealers (bookmarking suspected flashes and sweeping the list once a day for any possible alt-spamming or whatnot), but meh, the awards are becoming righteous once again and we haven't had any Normal-Whistle-But-Otherwise-Swell EGB applicants yet. We'll see, no rush.

It's still an abuse of the system, since it can be earned honestly, and has been since I've been a member here albeit a short while.. even thoug ToTW i's basically all they can win (except that insane day where they spelled out.. you know.. with the three awards.) How ironic that statement is my fucking internet connection went yesterday I think it is the router and I could not get the internet. I'm pissed off its is working now but for how long I. But I noticed that FF again won TOTW again I know TOTW is not the best award but we should try to prevent any stealing of the awards. I too noticed he is back with more shit guess he has nothing else do to I don't know why he feels the need to waste our time and why does it pass? But I saw his name and guessed he is back again. Another user Gender-lesshooker made another account but this guy been going for months now.
