The Newgrounds forum mods have voted and the majority of votes were a "NO" to re-modding SCD. I have left this decision to the mods. The moderators work as a team and if they feel a member of their team is doing something that will hurt their team, reflect poorly on them, etc, they have the right to ask for that person to be removed from their team.

SCD was recommended to me by the mods and I took their advice. Unfortunately he didn't live up to their expectations. I have no ill will towards SCD and feel bad he had to go through this ordeal. I hope he will continue to be an active member of Newgrounds and these forums.

What's so wrong about giving the guy a second chance? I think it's pretty clear he's got the point that what he did was in bad taste or whatever. He was a good mod to the users and overall he's a cool guy.

I cannot say anything to overturn anyone's decision, but I will at least say that SCD's thread is only a rotten egg in a septic tank. If the mods actually felt that SCD would ruin their image, they have

1) VERY high standards.
2) No clue on how most users view them.

Hopefully he won't leave the site altogether, because he is a cool guy. And to really push the buttons, I'd like to know what mods voted and what they honestly had to say.

I agree, it was a tough decision, and I know everybody wrestled with it. It really wasn't about whether we liked him personally or not, it, at least to me, was about how he was reflecting on the rest of us with not just that thread, but everything before and after it. He's a good guy, I enjoyed my interactions with him, and I really hope he still continues to come to this site, and we can continue to be friendly with each other now that all this is over. Every mod I've talked to since last saturday have expressed the same feelings as I had: This sucked, this was a terrible situation, and nobody had any fun in doing this. I just hope we can all move on from it quickly.

Well, to be frank? I don't think that's any of your business, it'll just cause more division then has already been created over this issue. The only person who has any real right to ask is the person involved. The mods made their decision, we felt it was for the good of the team, and ultimately, the good of newgrounds, I realize some of you don't like us, don't get why we do things, or whatever. I can't change those feelings, nor am I going to try, some people are going to like us (and I think the vast majority are happy with our job performance) some aren't. We're here to try and give everybody the best forum we can though, the problem is is that each of us all have a different idea about what the "best forum" is.

And I second it. I see anyone harrassing SCD about this, and I will deal with them also. This was a decision the mods made, Wade carried it out on our behalf, we are informing the community, now I hope we can let the issue die.

I've never had problems with SCD but i've seen that sometimes he could be a real jerk and unreasonable at times but that's about it but it's the mods/Wade's decision,i could really care less if he is mod or not,NG has enough mods as it is now,losing one won't hurt.

I guess you are right. I for one, didn't knew what he had done that got him banned, nor I had a clue that the other moderators voted him out.
