Heh, after what the Barney Bunch did last night, it reminded me of this thread. If you didn't know what happened, the Barney Bunch decided to upload a flash tutorial. Once it passed, they switched it over to one of those Drew Pickles flash. :S Some accounts got deleted for that, but there's one of those flashes still on the Portal. Hopefully, Wade sorts out that person.

Again... I'm not sure if it'll ever stop - but all I know, is that their pretty smart in their methods of spam - if their genius enough to mascurade their flash as a tutorial, and switch it to a Drew Pickles flash, no telling what could happen...

Every time one of those Barney or Drew Pickle flashes are submitted I email Wade, just in case he misses it. I email a link to the profile of the submitter. I know he is probably well aware of them, but it doesn't hurt to make sure.

They tried it again today, but luckily, people flagged it. However, there was a racing car game that was possibly an attempt to get the Drew Pickles flashes on the Portal again.

Well, in my opinion, I'd rather take both the blam point and the flag - I normally flag something malicious, and then vote on it - but I'll admit... I enjoy flagging things for one reason - the animation that follows - I found it in the portal, and put it in favorites - it's so cool...

I hardly flag any flashes because I know that its going to be blammed and deleted anyway. No point in increasing the workload for Wade.

Ah, I've posted there before - but I was thinking about it, and realized how bad of an idea it was - They'd say it'd be abused - and it would, as the workload for wade would simply increase, while people could simply be pressing 0s and racking up Blams.

I dont flag for 2 reasons.
1) I barely get a chance to go to the portal
2) While I hunt down links to stolen submissions like the FAQ says to do, some one takes the fast road and beats me to it... so I gave up on it.

At most, I check General around once a day - lately, I'm hardly even doing that... it's just so filled with spam - and whenever I talk in a topic there, it seems to always spill bad results for me...

The Barney Bunch is easy to recognize by certain usernames, maturity, and that same old tutorial they've submitted about 5-6 times now. Just blam them, whistle if you must, it gets deleted anyway.

The general fourm has plenty good topics along with a lot of bad ones, you just have to stay away from bad, post in/browse the good ones.

And, oh man, with the exp increasing for higher levels every day, it always seems like a good idea to add more levels so we can shorten the gaps. A lot of level icons I've seen around.

Yeah, and "pop up" doesn't sound good since I've been a victim of auto-spawning loads of pop ups. Really a pain in the ass. I wish there was a scan of flashes and if there's a code that auto-spawns pop ups, then the upload will be cancelled. Those pop ups, they could link to a virus!!

Sometimes, the General forum bores me. Sometimes, the General forum is full of excitement. Sometimes, it's a bit of both. That's what I think. Although one day, I expect to be completed bored with the General forum.

I remember making some of them. This one I'm uploading is the one I like the most. I just thought of adding that sprite to the background since I like the sprite figure. That's why I made that level icon. I think it would be really weird if that was an actual level. XD

Yea, the only thing in Wi/Ht is the lounge, but its just people congratulating other people. I used to go to Politics, but I guess I eventually felt too lazy to create well-thought-out posts.

Sometimes the general is alright to post in, it really depends on the thread. Clubs and crews is ok, but it isn't a very lively place. You have to wait hours for a message in return. Where is/How to I resort to when everything else is dead or I have had enough of the general. I haven't been there in a while. Politics every now and then if there is something worth posting about, but it is generally the same stuff over and over again. So maybe I am just out growing the bbs. I find myself lurking more for the lack of anything else to do than actually posting. But oh well

I believe that I always must check Politics, as I was a politics - only person when I first joined, and it's what got me onto the BBS.

General... what more can I say? It slapped three bans on me (all for replying to spam, and all for very very short amounts of time), so I'm not really "kind" hearted to it... I tend to avoid it.
